Early morning drop.. After replacing the bec rx wires, on a old smash, the truck fired right up...

Lightning is getting old, but his eyes seem to still work!

Thanks guys! Glad to see a couple ppl still use RCC!!!! Lol..

No video, that I know of.. it was a pretty crappy day. Windy, chilly, and drizzle, most of the day..

Only tire I use.. Boss claws, on my pro trucks since October of 2012!
Enough new sets, to last another 7 or so years!

I have a few sets myself, but keep using Voodoos or Rovers.
I have a few Voodoos reduced to Boss Claw OD also, but do not
seem to see any advantages with them with the modern weight
systems being used... And a lot of courses designed these days
seem to “need” taller tires it seems...

Since April, I went to a "local" comp, in Rhode Island.. (3 weeks ago).. At the World's and NEMS location..

Ran 3 courses..

Wasn't a good showing.. lol.. comp was a Blast!!
I was having electrical Gremlins.. which I thought was a hung brush..

Checked it last week and it was the spring post, wobbled out the hole in the delrin cap, on my front motor.
I guess 5+ years of abuse, takes it toll..

So I swapped in some HH 13t 520's.. old school..
400 in length, milled 540 can.. Big ole comm.. smooth, torqueeee, and fast!

Put half a pack on them, before NENC..

NENC was a Great comp, as Always!

Jslick was down a couple of key guys/helpers..
Everyone stepped up and did what we could to lighten the load.

A handful of Big names in crawling, where there.
Dlux was a big sponsor and driver on course.
Nabil
Nerby
Turbofest
Just to throw a few out there..

Course's were technical, hard, and none were easy or stupid crazy..

Boss claws ran the morning! With Nerby and myself sitting in the lead.
Doodoo's and do-overs were struggling with the dusty rock..
Rain storm at lunch helped that, for the guys running them..

Afternoon was looking good for BC's in the top 2 spots.. Till Nerby's Savox servo fried between gates 9-10, on the flat! Cost him 42 points.. (Ok, maybe not flat, but just driving across smooth-ish surface, none the less)

Dlux was too close for it to matter, once the rocks were clean. His consistent driving, slid him into 2nd and held through the finals.

I had a solid day, scoring.. -20, -27, -27, -25, -29, -30, -29(finals).. -187...

Erik handled a -113

And Nerby with a -98

Trophies by BC-Brian of Lattice Innovations..
Check out, Shift hubs, for the best option in none 8mm hub's!!!

Lmfao... Baahahaha... LMAO!!!!

This guy ^^^^ got some parts right!

No maintenance, lots of heckling, and chapstick...
I can do shirtless and no sunblock... Can't go with dry dusty lips!

A few tricks go into foams.... Also into keeping oil in scx10 shocks!

Nice to see you can pop on RCC, to heckle, but not reply texts or be cool enough to come crawl!

Yup, 2003 A4 with a 3.0 meant for the hands of a 10 year old mechanic

Bad scheduling and them switching RI to Saturday boned me on going but no biggie.

Its giving me some time to work on different things and new things for next season lol.

Congrats on the win with one very cool rig!
Good to see BC on top as well.
It always looks like you need a tall tire to win these days...
