How bout it! I've only been able to cut my "field" down, once in the last 2-3 weeks!
I'm going to need a brush hog to get it back to normal!
That's of course, once it's dry enough to get a mower of Any kind thru it, without sinking....

I'M SO SICK OF THE RAIN!!!!!!!

Palmerton is one of the Sickest club comp spot's, EPA has!

The rock is Ridiculous and goes across the ridge as far as the eye can see, in both directions!

I have more pics in my other build threads. Maybe I can transplant a few..

Lmao! Yeah, the BC comp the week before, wasn't easy on the rust-ezeee ointment.... Uni's needed a fresh application! ;)

Buttttt... The axle shafts decided that was the last thing I needed to worry about..

Sooooo.. Yes, that's exactly what I Need my man!

If it wasn't noticed at gate 10 on the 2nd course, I didn't finish..
Something snapped in the long side axle.. I was really hoping it was a hex pin or stub shaft or... ANYTHING, Other then the axle shaft!

No go! A year to date, 2 weeks before the NENC, the first (to my knowledge) CCC axle shaft failure... Which only half of that was spent with any actual crawling :'(

Short side twisted as well..

I must add.. I rebuilt the front axle a few weeks back. I don't remember the tangs being twisted.
Not before dropping the, HH 11t XX fill 500 pullers, in.
Some serious butter smooth Powah!

Now what do I do!? :/ I get on the horn and make some calls and send some texts, to my crawler family around the east coast.

Thursday I have a set of CCC axle shafts in the mail! Thanks PURPMART!

PURPMART, for All your crawler needs!

Got them in that night.. Out to the home course I go! So Stoked to be back up and running!

When it rains, it pours! 90 seconds into some easy crawling, it Poured! Poured on my emotions!

I found what pieces I could.. It grenaded into atleast 5 parts.. Both ears missing off the axle shaft side!
CCC axle shaft failure number 2!!!
Tho, I'll give this failure to Axial and there run of Junk uni's!

So back on the horn and procured them beauties above!
Also some backup parts and pieces, from another member.. ;)

Maybe I should actually contact CCC and see what kind of replacement plan they have.... Barry?

Good news.. I'll be ready to run before the NENC, next Saturday, for pro!
If the mail shows up in time, it might just be with some Dlux superlites! Ohhhh Yeeaaaahhhh!!!!

I was on the fence for these axles, not to down talk CCC as its clearly the Axial joint and the grinding must have made it worse. Hope you get the replacement set up and ready.

I went the Ofna route for mine, pretty Beefy option though it requires some changes to what you have.

As Purp said.. "A year in my ownership is like 2-3 years of a normal crawlers ownership"..
That and I don't remember any twist in the axle shafts, when I rebuilt them a few weeks ago..

As for the grinding of the uni's. I see that as a mute point. From my experience..

I've done a couple dozen sets of uni's like this and have only had one single failure. The new owner of my old el nino sporty, took the blame of abuse.. And they where 2 1/2 years old..
I have other sets pushing 4s, in my scx and up to a Pro4 HD 3500kv in my sexo! No failure... ;)

So grinded or not, it was simple just junk to start with.. But yes, it didn't help, but didn't aid...

I don't blame/point a finger at the CCC shafts at all.. I mean hey, they made it this long under my "care".. Lol
