No fancy shocks!

Batteries ran! Nanotech 450mah 65-130c... Powah!!!

Time to start doing that, Every day!
Yeah yeah looks like ya have alot of batteries in a pile from here...like you tell me VIDEO or it didnt happen!

I caught the lil shock comment every time I check the scx shocks they have leaked down & make a mess! I also recently pulled cap off shock body practicing not to mention last year at NENC when I snapped a shock body into....those days are over!!!

I am glad ya back on here honey😚

Ran that pile of batteries, again, today..

No video.. no comp. Just burning day light..
Maybe we can do work and get video at ECC, for both of our threads!

Learn to drive and those shocks wouldn't have such a hard life!

The best part about this spot.. is the hand rail, up there, and the bike path on the other side of it! Hahaha...

I used a panel from my good friend, Nerby, that sent me a care package!

All back together and ready for the rocks!

It's Amazing how much material a new chassis plate has!

No worries.. I finished half a course and Kyle ran it, after the break, with a perfect course!
It's a Remedy, even when it's broke, it Remedies that with a perfect score!

Hmm.. soooooo,I wasn't so very ready for NEMS! No repeat 1st place, this year, at NEMS...

A month or so later and I had a whole 3 more packs on the Remedy!
"Ready for NENC!" (Not really).. lol..
This past weekend was NENC and things were feeling good!
1st course, prefect run.. -40
2nd course, perfect run, for what I did. (One bonus was way out and maybe a super could have done it) -30
3rd course.. RIcrawler and myself built.. umm.. not looking so hot! 5-6 finishers and best score was a 10.. yikes!
I just rolled with the momentum I was running with and knocked it out! Through gate 5 and all is well.. at gate 6, my teammate M_Energy steps up and spots me thru! The rest was just as clean and finished out with a -30...

Time for lunch and things to show down a touch.. kinda liked that momentum and made a dumb mistake on gate 1 of course 4 and a reverse.. -29
Course 5.. second guessed myself. Reversed out and came a different way. Cost myself a gate and reverse.. -29..
Then course 6.. 2 or 3 finishers? I didn't. I wasted too much time on gate 7.. +24..

Going into the finals course, I was sitting in 1st place by 15 points..

By the 3rd driver on course, we noticed a hellashis storm rolling in! Derrick went to run and the storm is moving fast! It's getting Black, winds are kicking up, and lightning is flashing!
By this time, everybody is running!! Come on! Come on!!!!
At this point I'm rushing to plug my battery in..
Ok, I got power.. Go!!!
Gate one.. Dig... Oh shit, no steering!!!
(Rushing to plug in, I pulled my Rx wires loose)
Touch repo, right off the bat!
Ok GO!!!!!
I rushed through the course and killed the rest of it! (Minus a boundary and couple reverse)
I think I ran the course in 3 minutes, but felt like 90 seconds!
By gate 3, I stopped and had to show everybody down.. lol..
I finished and we all headed for the pavilion..
Not 3 seconds later, the drops started hitting the roof.. 30 seconds later, it was a Killer down pour and an Awesome storm!!!

If you haven't made it to NENC, you are Missing Out!!!!
The comp is nothing short of Amazing! In all aspects!!!
Thanks Jslick, for everything you do!!!

Ok, so after meeting Bruce/BDN of BmachineRC at World's, watching the Remedy do work on Stephan's video's, Purp talking Highly of his, etc..
I talked to Bruce and we swapped some measurement's back and forth. Things seemed close enough to make work. The decision was made!

Attachment 316245
Attachment 316246
The shocks needed a little something..
Attachment 316249

So I grabbed for a set of scx shocks, machined pistons, pack of o-rings, mrc silver springs, mini-t front springs, green slime, Losi micro crawler shocks, and built a new set.
Attachment 316250
Attachment 316251

I'm going for something a little different with this build.. A little Bling! (It's all Purp's fault!)

My starting point at this, was picking up some aluminum spring cups and some red springs.. Now only if I could find that second pair of red.. :/
Attachment 316253
Seeing how this chassis has Ridiculous belly clearance, for the first chassis ever, I had to limit my shocks!

So in went a old trick I originally got from Hittman. Micro crawler shock springs, internally...
All 4 shocks are limited to 3.35" extended.. It really brought the chassis into a realistic height at break over..

After the roller was squared away, I started on electronics..
7980, cc bec, HH Br mini's, HH 13t skewed/team 500 puller's and a airtronics MT-4 tx/rx..

Then for some CF... Oh yeah!

Robbob/Krazed Builds, new Berg CF electronics's tray!

Custom Fiber/Me, CF motor guard's and servo guard.
Attachment 316254

Now.. Something different then CF panels.. Think, think, think.. I got it! I know it's around here somewhere.. Where is it... Ahh, there it is!
Attachment 316256

I picked this, RockThrasher painted Lightning McQueen mini bug, up some time ago and have been letting it sit. Not anymore!

After some cutting...
This is a gold mine. Thanks for sharing
