The above pictures have the chaotic switch links, they set the chassis to a 50/50 position. this chassis is meant to be 60/40 so I had to make links to suit. this wasn't to bad a job, my first tikme making my own links. Im fairly happy with how theyturned out. the links with the green RPM rodends are the ones I made. |

Onto the axles, I picked them up from here. there were brand new unused. came as a complete crawler. the chassis has gone to a different project.

On to electrics... Fairly common practice here, nothing ground breaking. however it just works. Sadly I had a sidewinder fail. it had 1 pack through it. I had to dig out my old smash. while I was at it, I made a spare one for the nationals. I figure some one may have needed it at the comp. |

Car looks great! I wish you were local, I would really be interested in watching that car run in person. Its a lot to wrap your head around.

I found just drive it like a normal rig and it drives fine, you just need to use more proportional to keep it sucked down. Quote:
I haven't uploaded these pictures just yet. Quote:

I had a quite day at work so I made a delrin weight hanger. and some delrin rear weight hangers. I liked the fact with the tungsten slugs I could have that much weigh below the axle line. I also like that with the brass and tungsten I could have a lot of knuckle weight. I put the derlin hanger with 5 tungsten weights and I couldn't be more happy. RTR weight is 1700gr with 150gr of knuckle weight. |

we have lift off... this is it RTR with some custom wheels made buy Hulksta. Ione of my crawling buddies kept ripping his tyres off using the dlux style wheel, because I was getting ready for the nationals I didn't really want anything like this happen. I spoke with Hulksta about making some in bead lock and he worked his magic. |

Being a Week out from the nationals I figured I needed to get some drive time. I headed up to the location for some play time. A huge thanks to team mate Luxenberg for getting in a few days early and helping shake down this rig.

A few weeks ago I changed to the 3D printed centres and newer motor plates that now are on offer by Dlux. I like the little alloy bearing pocket. it makes working on these axles much better. I liked the little dlux logo on the centres so I couldn't refuse. the material feels very nice on the rocks as well. |

Dan at Hulksta Engineering recently got himself a 3d printer. He was playing around and printed a few parts for me to test out for him. So far there holding up excellent. I like how much better the roof profile is now. It will be interesting to see the long term durability. |

Dan was just playing around with his printer, he always likes to make things different. You will love driving this when you get yours built. |
