I just wish a couple bends and rod end twists could fix the driver too!!!

I think those bends and twists just gained you a whole hell of alot, as a driver!

Unfinished courses, will be finished.. Gates that you had to take, will be made..
I could go on, but you'll see it, this weekend!

Got a package from the Dlux compound today. These are even cooler in person and light as hell. I'm gonna run the gears I have in now for this Sunday's comp and will be putting these bad boys in next week. I'll post up some feedback as soon as I test em out. Another great looking product from Dlux!!

If you like them now, just wait till you run them and see how smooth and silent they run.

Thank you sir! Nice job on your end as well. I checked out the pics earlier and they did come out pretty sweet. I'm definitely happy with how the 2.0 is driving now.

They are not in yet because I was just too damn lazy to rip my axles apart last week!! Lol..... I should have em in this weekend, looking forward to trying these out so I'll let you know what I think as soon as they are on the rocks.

So I wanted to see a weight comparison between the RC4wd lightweight gears and Dlux's gears.

RC4wd gears: 36 grams . Dlux gears: 26 grams so 20 grams of total weight savings in the gear cases!

I love the fact that these already have the 2.5mm pin mod built in. . I went with a 15t - 48p pinion which should get me pretty close to my previous set up. . Out with the old. . In with the new!

Pictures dont do these things justice. I had them sitting on my bench for a couple weeks while i finished up the design for the championship tshirt. I finally sat down and i was fondling them for like an hour before they ended up in my gear cases.

but so do the other ones.

i have broke 2sets of 300's, they broke before the pin in the gears broke..
I never broke one, Yet.. but I have worn some out.. like most things that are bigger, it takes up slop and give more reassurance..
I don't know about anyone else, but having confidence in my rig, aids in the confidence of my driving..

Not to mention.. rc4wd gears are only around until they are gone!

Dlux gears will be around Forever!

Long live Dlux!

Everything will be worn out, just a question of time But itīs good to see more high quality gears on the market,if thereīs only one manufacturer there will be problems (sold out, high costs...),also just a question of time!

The truck is all back together and the gears are noticeably quieter than the old gears. These are everything Dlux said they would be!! Highly recommend these gears!

Long time no post on here!! Getting ready for NENC in a few weeks so decided to make some new shoes!
I thankfully bought some 1.9 Rovers last year before they discontinued them so I built some Doo-overs for the front and narrowed up some Voodoo silvers for the rear mounted up on Dlux rising sun loaded dice wheels! . . . .

I've only been able to make it out to 1 comp so far this year and the truck is driving great. I just need more wheel time!! The only small changes I made this season was re-doing my rear upper links to get rid of flex and less chance of bending in a big fall, and I made some new spacers for my shocks. I cut these out of 1/4" delrin and made them to my shock position so I have 2 bolts in each one. . . .
