Finally finished up the axle battery mount tonight. I ended up making a couple curved aluminum brackets to push the holes in the plate in a little and also clearance for the nuts on the bottom.

The plate itself I decided to make out of 1/8 inch Delrin. I countersunk the screws on top with a thin nut on the bottom. The entire mount with brackets weighs 4.5 grams and its rock solid and easily removable. Thanks Troy for your pictures and ideas, once I saw that pic you posted the lightbulb went on and I knew how I wanted to make it.

| re: Blandons Berg DLUX...2.0 These Knuckleweights looks great to me But it seems that the diameter is very big? Is it ok with the rules and does they fit a regular rim with 2.2inch bead surface? ▪ 2.3.3 - Wheel/ rim is limited to 2.2 inch or smaller at the bead surface. Wheels may be modified provided that the tire bead surface does not exceed 2.2 inches in diameter. With a tire mounted no exterior component of the wheel including but not limited to the bead lock ring shall exceed 2.55". Or is it just for freeride-crawling? Nice build |

Took the Superlites apart to see how everything is holding up and to re grease everything for the up coming comp season. Big bores got a fresh re build and new 40wt oil. The axles still look brand new inside with absolutely no wear on anything. Best axles out there IMO!!!

Package came in the mail today from Y-Town with my new 2.2M chassis the Double Agent 2.0. Picked up some links from DLUX also for the rig. I am definitely impressed with this chassis!!! The shape of the skid, the extra ground clearance and internal bracing are some nice new features on the chassis and this thing is super rigid.

Electronics mounted and set up. I was able to squeeze my electronics smash right on top of the skid "barely". Ran it around my basement for a few minutes and everything seems to be right on! Think I may have to take a trip to RC Madness for some indoor tuning... Last edited by blandon; 02-05-2016 at 08:01 AM. |

Looks good. Whats your GC at the front of the skid with the shocks fully drooped out?
