Most of the fun at these comps isn't the crawling. The comp with the titanic pic was a ton of fun, and an awesome group of guys! Wish we had comps like that every week!!

Comps are a blast...
Never a dull second with the BC or CT crew's!
Even the ETRC comp with rain all day, was Awesome! Laugh's all day long..
Mostly from laughing at each other while slipping and falling all over the place! Lol.. No one was hurt tho, so it wasn't hilarious or anything.. Haha..

Comps are all about the ppl, laughs, and the RC talk.. IMO.. Doing well is a bonus.

Anywho.. Here a visual on the springs..
Front's, rears, and mrc pro..

Don't have any Rcbros in my car tho.. Lol..

I meant the SCX shock is about 4"

I can't seem to find the Losi mini-t rear springs anywhere, I have a bunch of fronts (shorter) and I have some stiffer rears, blue and green...but I want some silver I think. Part # would help too...haven't checked tower yet, but looked everywhere else....

Anyone like to sell me 4 ???

Oh oh.. Nah, they are more of a 3.5" shock..

Get some mrc silvers.. Or Rcbros spring's..

I don't really think. Other then the .25", the mrc silver and mini-t rear silver, are any different..

Thanks guys

After fumbling around, stumbled on the part# Losb1994 and found 4 at A-main.

Actually got some springs yesterday...they clearly state 2.5" in the description on the site when I bought them ...BUT when I get them, they are closer to 4" ....WTF

Saw my links yesterday too...They should be on their way, then this should start to take shape and I can start to tap my screw locations for mounts and servo....thinking of using the brass threads for the servo. Anybody else do this?

Brass inserts? Into the axle tube?

I don't see a need for that.. With the 5 screw's, it holds tight.
Even with a 7980 on 8.2-8.4v..

Save the brass inserts for a later date.. In case, if ever, you would happen to strip a screw hole.

Just don't go tightening them down with ur drill or a impact gun, and they should last, in the delrin..

Sad weekend for crawler related stuff....only thing accomplished was cleaning the bench and the chit chat in here...everything is ready for the new links when they get here.

Where's the face in hand stareing at the screen icon....
