Default A Remedy found...

WHAT!? Wrong section newb... Not for this round! Lol..

Ok, so after meeting Bruce/BDN of BmachineRC at World's, watching the Remedy do work on Stephan's video's, Purp talking Highly of his, etc..
I talked to Bruce and we swapped some measurement's back and forth. Things seemed close enough to make work. The decision was made!

The shocks needed a little something..

So I grabbed for a set of scx shocks, machined pistons, pack of o-rings, mrc silver springs, mini-t front springs, green slime, Losi micro crawler shocks, and built a new set.

I'm going for something a little different with this build.. A little Bling! (It's all Purp's fault!)

My starting point at this, was picking up some aluminum spring cups and some red springs.. Now only if I could find that second pair of red.. :/

Seeing how this chassis has Ridiculous belly clearance, for the first chassis ever, I had to limit my shocks!

So in went a old trick I originally got from Hittman. Micro crawler shock springs, internally...
All 4 shocks are limited to 3.35" extended.. It really brought the chassis into a realistic height at break over..

After the roller was squared away, I started on electronics..
7980, cc bec, HH Br mini's, HH 13t skewed/team 500 puller's and a airtronics MT-4 tx/rx..

Then for some CF... Oh yeah!

Robbob/Krazed Builds, new Berg CF electronics's tray!

Custom Fiber/Me, CF motor guard's and servo guard.

Now.. Something different then CF panels.. Think, think, think.. I got it! I know it's around here somewhere.. Where is it... Ahh, there it is!

I picked this, RockThrasher painted Lightning McQueen mini bug, up some time ago and have been letting it sit. Not anymore!

After some cutting...

I want to keep the theme of the body, but not cover the BmachineRC chassis too much.. Tricky tricky..

We will stay here and go from there..

Even with the shocks limited to 3.35", we have a little bit of belly clearance..

Out I went, to get a feel for the Remedy..
It didn't take long to realize, it felt like I walked back into a familiar place.
I've ran a few different chassis and the Chaotic Smash was by far, my favorite..

Weeelllllll..... I was instantly reminded of what I was missing, after switching from the Smash.. The Remedy is so simple and smooth to slide across the rocks.
It's well planted and predictability showed its face, right off the bat!

Side hilling was Fun! Steep side hill to a up hill dig, not even a glimpse of tire lift...
Break over's don't get a second look. Just over and go!

I'm really liking the action/reaction and overall crawlability of the Remedy..

Time to practice up for ECC!

Thank you Bruce/BDN of BmachineRC!!!

Hey Troy, really cool to see this build here and good to read that some people could infected you with the REMEDYVIRUS. Now you could't change anymore - it's done and you will not regret one second

My first Crawler was also a Chaotic and i loved how stable and good natured but also precision he was. Same with the remedy but it have some extra properties which could help a lot at comp. Good to hear that you feel similar!

The idea with your panels is also very cool - look's crazy and everybody will remind "...ah, that's Winner's awsome REMEDY 3.5..."

Don't follow too closely Kev, you'll strain your eyes being that close to the screen!

Thanks mang! I'm a little bummed tho. My normal goop trick, to hold the panels on without zip ties, peeled the paint off the roof panels center brace... :'(

Ride height is 2 5/8"
Slammed is 2"
Break over is 4"

it works with my setup... You might have to figure out how to lower your rear uppers, at the axle, to get proper link geo..
My rear uppers are 4" off the ground, with BC's on.

I remember watching your videos the first time. Are drive styles are a lot alike.

With the packs I put thru it, even on the first one, everything just felt right! Low slung, smooth suspension cycle, and great crawling feel.. Not a single regret!!!

I agree.. I've seen the benefits above the chaotic. I feel I'll be finding even more, as drive time continues.

There will be a few changes yet.. Now that I know the clone axles fit and work with the chassis, I'll be going full on Dlux superlites for this Remedy!
That will come after ECC. I have to focus on getting my Super done in less then a month!

Lol.. Yay! I'll be remembered by awesome Remedy! ;)

I'm already happy! If the Remedy wouldn't of work with the Berg axle's, I would of leaned on your shoulder, while building a Dominator..

Bring your threat to NENC this year and we can all run together there! Lol..

I would like to make it down for a comp. It will have to be during a comp gap here. I know we are off till ECC. So I might go run with Purp, Robbob, and gang, first week of May.

Then 3 comp weeks straight, week off, 2 weeks straight.. Then I think there is a 3-4 week gap to NENC. (None of the above includes scale comps) busy busy..
