Steve's 2.2 Berg 1 Attachment(s) This is my first ever build. There are some things I will change like wheels and maybe shocks. I made a lot of mistakes along the way and it was only with help from people on this site that got me this far. Holmes motors and dual esc's Older chaotic switch chassis Lots of Dlux parts on the axles SDS 300's Etc. I have learned a lot! Thank you to those that answered questions. |

Re: Steve's 2.2 Berg Just imagine what your build would look like if you went to bookface for advice! Rig looks good, I would put some comp tires on it though, you'll be amazed at the difference in performance."thumbsup" |

Re: Steve's 2.2 Berg Hot Bodies Rovers or Sedonas, J-Concepts Ruptures or Scorpios. I'd like to recommend VooDoos but won't because of the owner's comments in the new Duratrax tire thread. Check out the "Tire and Wheel" section or some of the comp rig sections. |
Re: Steve's 2.2 Berg Can't go wrong with white dot rover's. |
Re: Steve's 2.2 Berg Bully 2.2 Comp tires from RC4WD are a decent cheap pin tire. You can modify the tread pattern on them to suit your needs. Being very inexperienced in comp crawling, and tire selection I like the Bully tire compared to the Proline chisels I started with. I think your tire choice will depend on what type of rock surfaces you crawl on. If you go to comps always check out what the other experienced drivers are using. |
