Thanks!

All the internals, minus the gears, are included.

No where near, the rocks!
But closer, every day!
Builds and rebuilds, plus electronics, takes time..
Here's where I have been and where I sit..

On there sides = done and ready!
In the box = Not... lol..

I feel better with what I got done tho.. the Important part, that has to be just right..

Tested and drying!

With everything else out of the way, including the mini Mantis and the Troyota, the next couple days is full on, Dlux kit, time!
Should go pretty quick.. ha ha ha...

So... at this point, I had some hang ups..
Like Work!!! They switched me to a new job site, 12hr days, hour away from home. Until I shower, eat, and put the kido's to bed, is 9:30..

I got the motors mounted, axles spinning smoothly(gear mesh), etc..
Here's where I was..

On wards!

And now..

I'm getting everything set and ready for drilling, tapping, and RTR!!!

I'll get pics as I go and post them some time tomm..

Once the axles are on, the fun begins...
A good eyeball and many many many measurements later.. you have it all good to go..

I start with drilling and tapping the shock and link mounts.
Drill them at a angle, so the set screw had some meat to bite into.. these will get the 6mm set screws

I just lightly snug them, into the tubes. Get everything where I want it, then tighten. Double check everything and drill all the other ones..
The top of the shock and link mounts, get the 3mm set screw's. Lockouts get 6mm..

Top and bottom

Now for the C's.. mine where a little used.. so I drilled and tapped the top..

Front

Set screw for the rear and the bottom(I liked the top so much, I wanted to do the bottom)

Ready, set, measured... Perfect!

Thanks for all the great pictures and step by step build process. I'm almost ready to order what I need from Dlux and build my crawler. I can't wait, sorta exciting and scary at the same time.

Since I'm finally getting back on track..
Time to get the boy, crawling..

Aiden did Great! We had a small issue, with a 15-18' drop, when the long rest tube snapped.. which was a cause of a little Dremel work..
But... Erik doesn't disappoint and got me parts out, ASAP!

Sooo.. here goes.. not only did Erik send a new long tube, but other rear parts, so everything was ready to go, after the big fall!

Work has begun!

Lots more to come!
