Default Berg with 13t crawl Master Pro question.

Berg with 13t Crawl Master Pros question.
Who's running these motors (13t crawl Master Pros) in their Berg? What pinion are you running and how do you like them?

I'm currently running 16t Crawl Master Pros I'm extremely happy with them. My pinion are 14t front and 13t rear.
however I've been running them for 4-5 yrs so I'm going to replace them with either same motors 16t or 13t Crawl Master Pros. just curious if the 13t crawl Master Pros might be a better combo in my Berg.

I assume 13t will be faster any pro or cons 13t vs 16t?

Thanks for any advice in advance

Hey man.. what pinion are you running?
With the 16t Crawlmaster pro, you can run bigger pinions and still have torque and speed..

I'm running HH 11t XX fill, crawl type 500's.. .. 13t pinion, I believe(maybe a 12t).. LOVE!!! lol..

Most guys run 13t.. you should get some good answers

Do you ever feel like you need more speed or torque?

Old school with offset opinions!

Honestly speed is good (always could be faster) for sprint if there's a long distance between gates. and I've never stalled out motors so torque is is good too.
But I noticed some guys run 13t crawl masters pro.

Off set pinion ya old skool for sure. I set my rig up that way many yrs ago and never changed it.

I'm waiting for Holmes hobbies to get 16t crawl masters in stock. They have/had 13t in stock and being patience isn't one of my strong points. If I wake up tomorrow and 16t are in stock I'll buy them unless a few Berg guy convince me otherwise.

"some guys".. might be a Understatement..
Some guys run 16t and a guy or 3 run 11t..

When I was a HH vendor, I sold Tons of 13t motors. As a matter of a fact, I pushed the 13t's like water to a crawler, in the desert!

I've never had a complaint about a set of 13t Holmes motors!

Most would get back to me, about how much they Loved them!
You will too! Lol..

I have actually tested this..
16t vs 30t... 30t Flow gets the launch.. 16t CMP wins the race..
Same weights, same pinions, side by side testing..

So a 13t would beat out a 27t.. in launch and race..

Any reason you haven't tried the Team Pullers? Smaller and lighter, but pack lots of punch...or is Holmes still out of those?

Default Berg with 13t crawl Master Pro question.

I am ready to replace my Tekin motors, and I am thinking about the Puller 500 team motors. I think 11 turn are in stock, not sure. I think I'm in need of more torque because I believe I stalled out one of the motors at the last comp. Is any one using the Puller motors?
Let me know what info you need about my rig to make the right choice.

Okay wanted to edit this. Should I go with the puller 450 or 500. Is the only real difference weight? Or will the 500 have more torque?
