New spot in clearwater

I don't know if any of you guys are close to clearwater but this is a pretty good spot. It is on old coachman rd. north of the clearwater threshers stadium. There is a park with tennis courts, basketball courts, and raquetball courts. Back behind the courts there is a paved trail that crosses a creek all four corners of the bridge and the banks of the creek are covered in pretty good sized coral type rocks. Let me know if you want to check it out and i can try to give you better directions.

P.S.
I went to Howard park. I could not find anything there where do you uys go out there?
Thanks

I told Shaun about this spot last week, it's worth checking out.

Im in tampa... whats the name of the park?

Jman08 04-11-2008 08:54 PM

Hey prp,
I am not sure of the name it is a small park but there is alot of rocks back there. Oh yeah rock claws work great there. I will be trying out my new badlands this weekend. I will try to find out if it has a name.

Here are some pics from today. There's tons of lines to try. This was just one side of the bridge there are 4 total rock areas.

Is this place just north of SR 590 or whatever road the Walmart is on on Old Coachman? Or is it the park where they play frisbee golf?

Jman08 04-13-2008 08:24 PM

It is just north of the frisbee golf park. It is the park with the raquetball courts and the tennis courts. Nice pics Ryan. Who's tuber is that it is sweet.

Squid121 04-13-2008 10:15 PM

It's right behind the Long Center (the place with the big indoor pool) thats on Belcher by the rr tracks.

Toyotawheeler 04-14-2008 12:33 AM

Take 590 east till you hit N old coachman road make a right at the light there and its your first entrance on the left by the tennis courts.

Just use your GPS, I'm sure you'll find it!

Stopped by today but didn't get any pics.Looks like there is enough flat terrain with a bunch of rocks to run a few courses. Then there are the banks on either side of the bridge with more rocks.Looks very promising.I'll try to get some pics in the next few days.Plus there is a bunch of shade! Might head out there this weekend since its just down the road.

Or you could just post some better pics. You post up a spot for a comp but you don't show the whole area, just pics with your truck?

I never said there was only 10 rocks noob, just that we needed a pic with more than 10 rocks in it.
