Default Rock Crawling in Central Florida

I started the rock crawling pit yesterday. I will be there today with my crawlers testing the layout. Bring your crawler and play on the new pit.
Here are some pics of the crushed concrete and log section. I will be building a nature rock section soon. For more info www.outacontrolhobbies.com/msgboard/index.php

This area will be the nature rock section built with natural rocks

The rock course isn't done yet but it's a start. I will be working on it more this week. The rock pit will be open Friday 1/2/09 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. I will have lights put up for night crawling.

Andy,
Going to send you a PM with my phone number.
If you want to get some of this concrete I have, you're welcome to come get it.. It's a huge dumpster almost full of it, mostly cylinder shapes, that have been busted.. when stacked, makes great obstacles. Brought home some of it, and will get some more to put in my back yard as well.

It's near OBT and Sandlake Road though.

Hey Andy, Me and my family came by last weekend to check out your course. I ran my crawler on it for about 20 mins. (until the driveshaft broke), Anyway, great job so far, and I hope there will be a comp soon, see ya.

That looks like a really cool course you have there. When I get a little better with my truck I will have to swing by.

And,

Your crawlin' space looks really good and I look forward to gettin' back to Orlando this summer, after I retire, so I can come enjoy what you have done.

Keep up the good work. And who says we don't crawl in Florida.

Carl

Sorry guys I haven't checked in on this site for a while. Does anyone know how to set my profile to email me when a reply is posted?

sub-zero, was that you the day I was there? I had parts to fix your drive shaft.

I found a place that sells natural rock for $95 a ton. I will try to get time this week and go get a couple of tons. My nitro track is closed for a couple of weeks so I should have time.

I am going to the JConcepts Crawling Event in Clermont Sunday. I hope to meet some of you guys there.

Does anyone in this area have a super class truck? It seems like everyone has 1.9 or 2.2

Hey Andy, yea that was me and my family that was there, actually it wasn't the driveshaft that broke, it was the generic locktight that i had on the set screw that came loose, anyway can't wait to see some pics of the 2 tons of glorious rock that you are bringing in, post some pics, and let me know when your first 2.2 comp is.
