If I get the rest of my parts Saturday then ill prolly go hit the trail early Sunday morning. I went to halpatiokee park last time and hit the mtn bike trail but only the first couple of miles. I know there's way better stuff in the back as I have ridden the entire 10 mile trail many times. It'll be a long walk but I'm willing to try it. Mostly roots and mud/water and some man made stuff.

Well I know a bunch of short cuts to get to the back if I'm walking but I might try and figure out a way to use my bike to back there. I've got pics of the first mile or two on Instagram, #halpatiokee, if you want to see what it's like. It does get rougher towards the back of the property. Either way I'm getting out there to use the rig. It's something to do in the mornings since I can't sleep in.

havn't been to Halpat in a while since my miata doesn't haul my bike. But could always put a trailer on the back of the bike and haul the stuff to deeper in the trail. I know the airborne mountain bike club is out there often.

Thanks, it's far from done, just built

For now, i'll be turning the dingo body into a scale basher, i butchered the paint something awful, it's peeling away bad alredy before i even took it out
(I want to do the DIY D90 healdights and grill along with taillights and probably an LED light bar, and servo chassis mounted winch)

Also on the look out for a driver.

I'll get an Proline Cherokee body to do the full scaler to
The XJ will get snorkel, roof rack, i'll try to build an ARB bull bar, rear swing out tire carrier, and misc accessories

ok, scratch that rock pile i posted above, it's a no go (at least with a scaler). A wraith or comp crawler could tackle it, but no go for the dingo

Stripped my spur gear there (i hadn't set it right i guess)

Just moved from psl to lake worth. Looking to get out of rc jets and into scale and rock crawling. I hope to find a big enough backpack since I have a motorcycle and meet up there and trail ride with you guys. I haven't found the right chassis yet anyone have any recommendations? I'm tight on money but I still want to enjoy life. I have a few 3s lipos, and 1 4s that I hope to reuse in my new truck but if not no biggie.

Well mike2, are you wanting a rtr or a kit?? I've got an scx10, which I love because of the fact that it is closer to scale then the wraith. It's really all personal opinion. There's a lot of hop-up parts for both. Scx10 is a little cheaper on the rtr version I believe. The kits are roughly the same. If you are tight on $$ like I am then I would go with scx10. Another thing I like about them if the fact that you can change the whole body, on the wraith chassis all you can do is Change the panels, they all still look the same. In the pic with all 3 rigs, they're all scx10's just different bodies and things. I hope this was a little helpful.
