Alright, had our fun, lets get this thread back on topic

Version 3 took some great pics last time he was out there. Makes me want to go back. Maybe we could have a gtg there sometime.

Once I get my rig put back together, I'm thinkin about heading down and looking for the northern spot to see if it's any quieter. I was there in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday last time so it was kinda crowded.

Even if I head back to the southern spot, I'll def bring some gate markers this time

Exclamation Calling central FL crawlers

I will be making it out here at Bethune on sunday. I'd love to see anybody else there. I will be setting up a few gates and taking pictures. Gonna do some scouting, I'd love to use this as a comp spot next season.

Had a great time today at Bethune Beach. I'm glad you met me out there Matt. Lots of good pics in the album. Were you able to get a good video of that climb?

We made 2 courses and took pics for perspective.

The place is huge! Plenty of room to free crawl for hours or as many courses as you'd like. It would be a great place to hold a comp.

Need tents for shade and sunscreen.

Note to self; even at the beach, you have to wear shoes on the rocks.

I just got super sunburnt on the top of my feet. And the coquina rock was very unforgiving. I didn't even bring shoes to the beach or I woulda put em on.

Matt on the other hand.....

Yeah I had the misfortune of kicking one of those damn things... My toe looks a lot better now that I cleaned it up. Def. wearing shoes next time too. I know from past experience that sandals don't work too well on those rocks.

As for the vid, the one of the completed climb turned out ok i guess... My camera does a MUCH better job of taking stills than vid. I'll work on getting it posted today after work.

I REALLY want to climb on some of that coquina rock. I bet the grip is rediculous.
