!!Open to discussion!!
These are the ones that are fure sure, but we need at least 4-5 events so please place some input...

**MUD HOLE**...can probably use the old one we made, or should we make it into a straight mud strip(like in the ORCRC TTC)...long with a couple deep holes hidden under the surface:twisted:?? Good idea or no?

**MINI RUBICON**...I say we changed it up some. Move the rocks Andrew brought toward the "main" section of rock, and allow the driver to start on the easy smaller rocks, and then eventually drive onto the main area?

**UPHILL CHALLENGE**...same area as always, but we need to make sure the marked section is harder than the past:ror:

2-3 more events??

Don't forget the sled pull.

Added!"thumbsup" I guess we are going to judge based on the 10-20 ft. pts. system? 10ft event=1pt per ft. and 20ft event=1/2 pt per ft.

Maybe a tuck tug o war? Speed drag run with a trailer or some sort of weight that everybody can hook up to. Also a few water holes/ mud with some logs in the mud as well as rocks in say a 10 or 20 foot run

I think the time system worked best, and then points for the people who don't make it all the way through. Say, teh # number of trucks enter are the # of points used, 23 trucks = 23 pts, if one person makes it 11 ft, the the next person makes it say 10 feet, then person one gets 23 pts, and person 2 gets 22pts, if they don't make it all the way through, and if the person got the fastest time, they would get the max points, everyone slower or that make it a certain footage, gets less and less points.

I can make the score sheets if you want.

Yea, as long as it works. "thumbsup"

(edited the thread) keep the idea rollin, do the ideas about setting up the events work? If so then we'll make it final. Also should be do a straight mud hole like in the orcrc ttc vids?

I think a hill-n-hole style straight shot with maybe the last hole being real nasty. Plus I think it would be an opportunity for sweet pics and vids. When do we need to start setting up?

here are some rules based off of msd's ttc thread. I made a couple changes to them, lmk what ya'll think.

RULES:

1. Competitors will receive points based on their finish time or distance on each
course. .

2. All scoring will go by time first. If competitors don't finish the course, they will be scored on distance covered.

3. If you roll your vehicle, you must right it with your own winch. Time will
continue as you do this.

4. Hitting marker cones on the course will add 30 seconds (for each cone) to your
time.

5. Going out of bounds will end your run, and your distance will be marked at that
point.

6. No outside winching or strapping will be allowed. If your winch quits on a
course, you may replace it after your run, before you start your next course.

7. No modifications can be made during the competition. No
tire/motor/gearing/shock/adding weight/etc changes will be allowed. You may change
your battery to any battery during the competition.

8. Run order: There will be a sheet
printed out and posted that shows the run order for each course. You must be ready
and waiting when it's your turn to run.

9. Vehicles can have a winch to be considered for this comp.

10. You will be able to enter just 2 vehicles per competitor

Well, we could either let you winch, or give a deduction in points for touching, idk, -5 or so points

smm_cbf 03-21-2010 04:30 PM

I entered the events we'll have, We'll figure out design when we set up..should we setup about an hour before the drivers meeting?

Yeah.

IMO using your hands wouldnt be that fair i would just take the winch off my rig b/c using your hands is gonna be waaaay faster then using your winch... maybe add a penalty for doing it or something... just my 2 cents.
