Default jacksonville crawling

While i was in jacksonville for the comp i also looked at some jobs for work and while i was at one i found another good place to crawl, I think not sure i have enough experience to say. I did not get any pics but thought maybe dave could go check it out some time and let us know. It is off US 17 just south of 295. It is under the south side of the Doctors lake bridge. they are still doing some construction there now but shorlty they should be complete. Lots of larger rounded rocks. Some holes but not too bad.

if you pull into the marina parking lot you can walk down and get under the bridge and such. it looks like the are going to put rocks all under and around the bridge embankment.

GO ALLEN!! This place is NICE. Perfect comp site(if there was parking). If we are hard up for a new comp spot we could shuttle people from just down the street. Nice big rocks plenty of room and shade. The terrain is much like our last comp spot, but the rock is more like the rock in Sanford. Lots of dust on the rock, but the rocks look new, so this may wear off.

None of the shots were staged. The line in the 5th picture was very nice. Also you can see my new 6" Nova's "Doing work".

When i was there i parked in the marina, which is open all the time. The shade and the Rain protection is nice as well.

It looks much better from satellite view than in person. That picture must have been taken at low tide. I went at high tide today and there is only about 10' of rock showing. Surely not comp material. I didn't even take my crawler out of the truck. Good looking though Donnie. It looked good from the sky.

I would not mind doing that. My dad winters in Savannah, GA so the trip would be much shorter. I would need to find another job though, and I am one lazy job hunter while employed...

Plus how do I tell the pregnant wife that we're moving to Jax so I have sheltered places to crawl Also her parents are only 20 minutes away now, close family will be a godsend when we require free baby sitting
