No issues with too long, it can be any length over 8". I'm curious to see total height and the hood to roof line height

Minimum bodiless dimensions need to be:

8" long

3 3/4" tall

3" wide

1" from top of hood (chassis plates not the lexan) to roof

If it is out of spec we will let him run, but will be excluded from the finals. If it is in spec then we better watch out, he's on a mission to destroy us

That's what Japan said after Pearl Harbor 4 years later we leveled two of their cities.

I have a printed copy of the rules already in my gear bag , but for bodiless dimensions I do not need to see them. Being involved in the design of two bodiless chassis now I have those numbers etched into memory.

Don't see that as a benefit, and just by this comment don't know if it's in the 1in rule like DT said. We gotta watch this guy he packs heat in his hip lolololololololol. Just like at the first comp rich came his rig was 13.5 when compressed hahhhahaha.

Don;t forget this part too:

2.1.4.1.4 - It is required that at least one point of the side-panel must
reach to a span of 1” tall or more & at least one other point of the side-panel must reach to a span of 2.5” long or
more.

I really hope the rig is within spec, regardless, points for creativity!

Side panel is not 2 1/2 inchs wide at any point.
From that photo the 1" roof req. is not met, the 2 1/2 in. mark is about where the top of the chassis rail & the side cage plate meet & if you measure with the rule it's a little under.
Good thinking though.
Trust me i'm using that photo & rule as a guide so I can't say for sure it's not within spec's.

You are good Bill. It only needs to measure 2.5" at one point, you have more than that across the top and bottom.
