Who's rigs have power? Mine has a half dead hamster powering both axles

Foam is good but does require a coating of some mesh coated with plaster, concrete, stucco or some other compound to provide traction and protect the foam.

I agree. Maybe even do levels, you will want to make it competitive and you are going to have to get creative. It can be fun, I feel like you will realize you want more room instantly. Thats why Npb is great, John has created, and it is at a park, room to expand almost as needed. You should come to Miramar and NPB, see what is here locally and then take some inspiration from here and what do you come up with. It would be nice to have a circuit down here. There is also Haulover, but it requires lots of bridges. We typically like to do 4-5 courses including a final. I think it will be difficult to do 4 couses in that space, but hope its possible! Good luck and let us know how its going....

you can really use anything to throw off the boxy shape. just remember to use wire lath to cover whatever you use and mix up some motor. then use a trowel to apply the motor to the wire lath. this will protect the foam or whatever from the tires.

this is what i came up with at npbcrawlerz.

You can also use just the wire alone to shape it how you want and then wrap it with a material and nail it down that way the motor does not pour through the wires
