| Wheelbase and width: The dimensions of the vehicle are limited only by the body, but it must fit within the body’s fender wells - Doesn't this say no. That will cut a ton of people out of the comp. |

| 2.1 No maximum or minimum wheelbase limit. Wheelbase should 'fit' truck concept/body. As of 2011 rules for TTC TTC/KOH/extreme trail truck 1. Tires 1.1 Maximum tire outside diameter of 5.75” as measured. 1.2 Tire diameter and width may be reduced, enlarged or combined with other scale tire treads as desired. The modified tire diameter measurement will be taken with the tire/wheel laying on its side, without vehicle weight on it. 1.3 Tire lugs may be removed, siped, grooved or otherwise modified. 1.4 No competition specific tires allowed (see banned tire list). Modified tires must still resemble a scale tire in design. 2. Wheelbase 2.1 No maximum or minimum wheelbase limit. 3. Chassis 3.1 Overall chassis length (including bumpers) must be at least as long as the wheelbase. Stingers, spare tire carriers, winch plates, or other bumper mounted accessories are not included in the overall chassis length measurement. 3.2 Chassis may be a ladder frame, back-halved ladder frame, molded tub, uni-body or a tuber. 4. Bodies 4.1. All bodies (including tubers) must measure a minimum of five inches wide from front to rear of door, two inches above the skid and must measure a minimum of five inches tall as measured from the skid to the tallest point on the body. 4.2. Body modifications including, but not limited to, pinched front, dove-tailing and boat-siding are permitted as long as the final dimensions comply with the aforementioned rules. 4.3 Tubers must have at least panels or scale vehicle components (tool boxes, fuel cells, etc..) to conceal the electronics. 5. Other 5.1 Vehicles without an enclosed cab and/or doors must have the motor, transmission, and electronics in the interior (drivers and passengers compartment) covered and hidden when viewed from the top and sides. 5.2 Dig and/or rear steer are permitted. However, only the use of one or the other will be allowed (per course) with the choice being left to driver’s discretion. 5.2.1 The initial use of dig or rear steer will incur a onetime penalty of +5 per course. 5.2.2 If during that same course you engage the other one, there will be a +10 penalty assessed and your vehicle will be placed back at the last gate cleared on that course. The same penalty will be assessed each time you use that item. Last edited by yoda@4x4; 01-06-2011 at 06:50 AM. |

From the looks of it my ax-10 2.2 is not considered a 2.2 scaler. so I have to run in the crawler class or change the chasis to a frame?

That is correct. As for the WB i think it means the tires cant be further foward or backwards of the fenderwells they have to be inside them.. maybe. Last edited by RebelRacer; 01-06-2011 at 10:09 AM.

Obviously if someones trying to run an XR10 or RTC axial they won't be able to, but i think this is something that should be gone over at the event if they can run or not, b/c some have to drive a long way to come out and for them to just be turned around b/c of their chassis not being of the correct spec would suck and not do good for anybody. Does that mean i might see the chevy again?

| No, not really,...................................here is the banned tire list. It states that modified tires need to still resemble a 1:1 tire. • BANNED TIRE LIST (the following tires are not allowed): Losi Comp Claws; Imex red rocks, skulls and bones; Hot Bodies Rovers, Sedonas; Panther Cougars, Leopards; Jconcepts RocX; Pro‐Line Chisels; RC4WD Rocklins, Crazy crawler, X‐locks; Losi Bashers; Any buggy tires, truck racing type tire, pin tires.** Last edited by Scattman; 01-06-2011 at 11:21 AM. |

Rock Claws probably, the same 4 tires that have been on it for years other than the 1.9 Rok Lox. Wheels have seen better days though. |

| I dont think this would be a problem or the guy who got 2nd last time would be out because his front axle was way out front.I hope they dont change that because mine arent centered, cant do it with the cab and tranny placement so..........

Yep, that is why I tried to just stay with a basic rule of just needing a scale chassis because if we start trying to follow the rules to a T we will be forced to have numerous classes. I personally don't care if someone's wheels are not centered in the body, I just want scale trucks to compete with scale trucks, not comp rigs in scale clothing.

I agree with Scattman, I might change the wheelbase someday or get a new body, but being that I'm in the middle of building a berg I deffinatly can't afford a new body, and don't really not wanna use my $100 body.
