FOFF what the F@#& is an FOFF

this morining i had no clue what an FOFF was, so i looked it up. Formula Offroad. If you have not seen one of these rigs, you need to check them out. it a mix of a crawler/ scaler like chassis, big big power, and some paddle tires. its AWSOME. that being said, i had some paddle tires laying around, stole a novak 13,5 out of my short course, and my crawler king with dna chassis. Started about 9pm and its now 2am and finished. can't wait to try it out.

Just wondering if anyone else is running a foff in the central florida area, as for the sanford crew, these rigs would be great under the bridge. i cant make it this sunday. will def be out there the following sunday.

see ya there. "thumbsup"

I can't think of 1 good spot for a foff rig in Sanford.

You can't think of 1 good thing to say about sanford.

It ain't all that terrible for only being less than a 30 min drive for most of us.

Yeah, an FOFF rig would be useless in Sanford. No hillclimbs anywhere.

well i think the first thing your going to spit out is the drive shafts and then the plastic idler gear and/or snap the trans outputs

these are the things i pooched the first two times i took mine out

yours looks pretty sweet tho

good luck with it

i stepped up to RR steel outputs for the trans and MIP's and haven't had any issues since

Yes I can. Sanford is great for scalers and that's about it.

if its waterproof would be a fun mud truck or try and skim across the creek thing lol or try and run up the side of the bridge its self

I know of a few BAD A$$ place's for an FOFF rig right here in ocala and I know an even better place in Hernado of HWY200 ...

hpirick 11-07-2011 08:36 PM

might have to check that out next time im over that way. just need a little bit of gearing to get some more wheel speed.
