Dec 3rd or 4th at Hoggetowne .........

.............. for an impromptu G6 challenge at Hoggetowne Creek. Wanna go for sorta a trial run to tweak times. We have a spot picked for "home base" that we looked at today and I want to see how long it takes to run a few sections down the trail. We checked out a good bit today on the South end of the park.

I am hoping for it to take about 30-45 minutes to run this course. That is my target time. I am thinking it may take a little less but there is definately more terrain to add a little length if needed.

I already have an idea for the longer course.

Thoughts?

I am down for the 4th......longer the better...

I can also bring my sled with me if you want....

are we going by rule's.....

planning ahead is always nice :)

I should be good for either day; I personally don't ever plan anything that far ahead, so my schedule is open, lol

I've also never been in any sort of G6 event, so it'll be a first time for me  at least it looks like I've got plenty of time to get my rig dialed in "thumbsup"

Do you need tires & wheels?

Scattman, would this be at the park where we met you first, by the rocks. Just curious. And I assume the STANDARD G6 rules apply? Guess I have to go read them and make sure my rigs are good to go.

Do we need the 5 scale accesories?

This would be at Hoggetowne Creek, not the comp spot. Not gonna stress with the rules much on this first go-round, really trying to test the time needed to get down some sections of the creek.

I got the winch installed today.

iamsuperbleeder 11-01-2011 09:17 PM

oh good does that mean I could run my cut (modified) 1.9 Boggers?

kennyj 11-02-2011 05:39 AM

I hope so because I will be running cut Mickey's.

Scattman 11-02-2011 05:59 PM

Finally got everything tight, but by then I'm sure something will have happened. If not the heavy heep jeep will be there, hopefully on some scale tires by then. Planning on having practice runs/gtg's out there till then?

Ok just asking but are we running 1.55, 1.9, 2.2 or all of the above....

kennyj 11-04-2011 05:49 AM

All of the above. We should also run the smaller rigs first to avoid the trail being torn up by the bigger rigs.

diggindeep 11-04-2011 10:15 AM

If I can get all my trades done and parts in i'll be there.
