FL Scale 4X4 GTG at Skyway bridge - YouTube

It's on the north fishing pier of the bridge.

I'm thinking we all meet up @ coachman and run the rocks over there on Sunday morn... Tons of shade.. decent terrain..

Weather is supposed to be nice this weekend, Billy and I are game to the bridge spot we were at last week ?
Hell, If it's high tide I may bring a fishing pole and throw a trout jig and see I can get a bite.

That Skyway spot looks pretty sweet as well, be a nice excuse to have a small BBQ some afternoon while we are all there, especially since the weather will be breaking soon ?

Re: Anyone near Tampa?

Would anyone be interested in crawling there next weekend? I have been missing that place and considering a day trip over there to crawl. I should have my comp rig in 1 piece by next weekend.

If I can get my lady to spit this baby out before next weekend then I'm in for a skyway crawl day! But until she has this baby I'm stuck close to home..

Congrats! My son just hit the 20 month mark a couple days ago. I'd be willing to postpone so I am not crawling by myself out there. I have a friend nearby in Venice I want to visit too, so it is a dual purpose trip across the alley.

Congrats to you too! We're hoping to have this baby out by next Tuesday!
We were in the hospital last night for 4 hours thinking it was a go but it was just a false alarm.. I'm over your way just about every 6 weeks or so to visit the in laws in Coral Springs , Maybe at some point you can give me a good excuse to skip the crazy mother in law and get some crawling in on the east coast..lol

I'm up for anywhere this weekend. Coachman or Dunedin work.

Re: Anyone near Tampa?

I have to work Saturday so I would be in for Sunday, anywhere. I've been to Skyway and it has some big rocks. I went to a comp there once and it was great for that, I'm sure you could find some areas for scalers. Either way, Skyway, coachman, Dunedin I should be able to do it.

Re: Anyone near Tampa?

The coachman rocks are tight packed so if it's crawling we want to do thats the place.. The good thing about it is theres also some scale terrain.. But the same can be said for the causeway.. What to do..... What to do.....
