I still have my scaler, but I have been concentrating on SCT racing and have not even run my scaler in a couple months. I would be down for a meet up.

Ok. I'm usually free in the afternoons. What spots do you usually go to? I haven't really found any good spots.

Anyone have any good locations they would like to share? I'd like to get my trucks out on some trails/rocks.

We havent decided yet where we will go. There is a spot on 66st. and Bryan Dairy rd. or if you rig is waterproof we can go swimming up in Clearwater at the Long center.

None of my rigs are waterproof. I have a scaler, 2.2 comp and super. What type of terrain is at 66th?

its some type of dump/landfill area. Just mounds of dirt and landfill everywhere. Decent area for scalers. About the only place I could find in Pinellas...

you should head over to the Long Center in Clearwater. There is a rock field there you would definitely enjoy with your crawlers. People used to go out there and set up courses for crawlers but I dont know if they do it anymore.

I can give you directions through pm or you can google it. There is a public park right next to the long center. The rock field is in that park, right near the creek that runs throught the park, which also parallels the rail road tracks

We arent going to the long center, we're headin out to the 66th street spot. The long center spot is only fun if ur waterproof or have a rock crawler.

Oh and 9am cause I want to be back home to watch the Rays lose

I think I've actually been to the long center. Is it off old coachman rd? If you can PM me directions to the other place I might be able to make it.

We got out to the 66st spot today for the first time in 5-6 weeks, the trail areas are heavily over grown with weeds and caster bean tree's but still plenty fun.

I was tearing around with my Losi and having a blast !

Hey SCX10Tampa, thats a good looking Honcho! Im in the middle of rebuilding my 2.2 scaler into a rock racer type or crawler with a Gmade R1 chassis and Axial drivetrain and im building a budget crawler from my old EMaxx. I`ll be game to go crawling some day.......
