South Fla Chapter ECC trip signup.

Hey guy's, if you are planning on attending this years (2012) ECC comp please post up. We are planning the trip so everyone who wants to go can save some money. If we can get enough people to commit to the trip, we can pool our $$ and save some.

After doing a little research, Wade, Graham and I have put together a package.
As it stands, we rent a 15 passenger van and drive. The van will be about $ 750.00 for 4 days. The mileage will be about 1500. That's not including the fuel which would be around $500.00. Transportation and fuel is $1200 total.

Now the cabin is sitting at $815 for 3 nites. This includes 4 bedrooms, with space to sleep at least 10 people. Rotation will need to happen. Here is a pic of the cabin.

Here is a link to view all the features.
#16 - All Decked Out, 4 Bedroom Lake Home Rental on Weiss Lake, Alabama at Chesnut Bay Resort

Please post up if your interested in going.
Any questions please feel free to post.
If i didn't say, it will be about $255.00 Per Person if we get more than 8 to attend. This includes cabin van and fuel. A full package. Only thing is spending $$ for food.

Re: South Fla Chapter ECC trip signup.

I have an update on the per person cost. The van is up to $850 due to the mileage. The fuel should still be the same @ $500. Cabin is still $815.
Total is $2165, divide by 7 people is $310 PP, if we can get 8 people it is $270.
As far as i know everyone is in, still waiting to here from Bill and Tyler. That would be 7 people. I'm trying to convince Dave.

Re: South Fla Chapter ECC trip signup.

I just got the AAA maps of Fla.,Ga. and Al. I'm in the process of mapping out the road trip to save us time and $$$ in gas.
If I'm correct we can drive straight up thru Ga. then hook a left into Al.
The mileage and time seems a little shorter. In the beginning it was around 710 miles each way and 12 hours driving, this is around 680 and 11 and 1/2 hours travel time.

The only thing I'm waiting on is a set list of participants. Originally it was 8, now it seems its down to 5. Hopefully I'll have all the info by Friday. If so i can let everyone know the per person cost of the trip.

Re: South Fla Chapter ECC trip signup.

Please don't freak, If adjustments need to be made with the cabin and or the van they will be made. I still have everyone best interest on my mind. Things can be changed in order to make it economical for everyone.
My main goal is to allow all to attend ECC, have fun, be comfortable and not break the bank. The more info i get the sooner i get it then the changes with go a lot soother. 8)

that is correct. that is the route my GPS took me last year when set to shortest mileage. Up to Atlanta then swing west into AL for a back country boogie.
