|  trail run gtg sunday 25th
me dblrnut mudlife and whoever else wants to come are going out to 588 pit to do some trail running and see what other trouble we can get in lol

i wish i had a set myself need to order some talking with yoda and dblr its looking like a late afternoon run i was going to leave around 4 maybe even into some evening running so make sure you have some working lights |

We ride our buggies in Ocala, so I looked up the 588 pit (found GPS coordinates here). We've taken our buggies in there, but have been nervous because it's right off the main road. There's actually a neat pit right across 588 from that pit, but it would definitely take a good truck (or stock buggy haha) to get back there as there's quite a few downed trees on the way. it's not sandy either, all grass. There's another pit just north of 40 off of Pipeline (the "road" that runs at an angle through the forest if you look it up on google earth), but again, I'd recommend at least one 4x4 to go with you to help pull anyone out that got stuck (although the path is pretty good, there may be some sandy spots). That pit is as big as 588, but not nearly as tall or steep, so there's TONS of options for a RC vehicle. If anyone wants details of any of the pits in Ocala, PM me here. I'm leary to post info on forums ever since I got an email from Division of Forestry about you tube videos I posted of us playing  |
