Lol, waterproofing for this spot is an under statement, lol. Seriously though, I'm down for running over there anytime. Just let me know when.

Did a complete tear down of the Dingo and found 2 missing screws, tires blown off beads, and a receiver was a little wet. Everything fixed and or replaced and running.....for now.

Shit, you were even waterproofed and your receiver got a little bath. I'm glad I stayed away from that bank.

Tearing the Honcho down now...found one blown bead (had no idea) so far...

Aside from the blown bead all looks good on my side. Got the universals torn apart and regreased, bearings removed, cleaned and regreased and everything reassembled.

Will be cleaning the wheels/tires tomorrow and reseating the bead.

Now it's time to either get my Holmes Hobbies motor in and installed so just solder the bullet connectors that AILD was kind enough to give me today to the stock Axial motor and give this BR-XL a whirl. Next weekend maybe?

I wish I could have made it, it was a perfect day to go. We're the mosquitoes bad?

They were terrible. They got AILD a few times through his t-shirt. We're almost convinced we discovered a new species.

During the week will be tough except for the afternoons and it'll be disgusting by that time.

I can go this weekend for sure. Early Sunday mornings work well for me.

Anybody down for another early Sunday morning run?

I won't have my TorqueMaster in by then, but I still want to hit the trails.

Just got the shipment notification from JRH himself. Doubt it will be here by Sunday but it may get delivered on Saturday.

I'm in for a Sunday run as well. I ordered some stuff from hobbypartz but won't be here until the 7th. Bought some new batteries, a servo , 2 more flysky receivers and a ESC and motor combo for my 1/16 rally.

Let's be running by 9am since it's been so hot and muggy.

Sunday it is! I'll probably try and get there by 8:30am.

My TorqueMaster is going to arrive tomorrow but JRH said he thinks his guy forgot to solder the leads on. If he did, I'll just be running stock electronics (not ballooned). If he didn't forget and the leads are already on, I'll be rocking the TorqueMaster and BR-XL.

I'm going to try my hardest to remember the Off! spray this time too...

Also might have a buddy of mine from a Tacoma forum meet up with us out there. He's never really hit the trails and he's got a Honcho with 2.2s too. Name is John. He's "tentative" right now.

I'm not really worried about the weather, I haven't even looked at what is predicted. I've spent the last two days in pain and recovering from a dumb ass accident. Dropped a bottle of Super Glue and went to catch it, missed and when it hit the floor it squirted directly into my right eye. I now have a minor corneal abrasion and a stain on my cornea. Mild trauma to my eye and eye lid. That damn crap hurts. It's already getting better so I'll be out there on Sunday, def get your friend to ride out. More trucks is always better.

Hahaha, so funny. I'm already at about 80% so no need for an eye patch. Anyways I'll see you all in the am. Fink did you talk your friend into going? The more rigs the better.

Anybody else want to join? We could definitely use some more trucks out there.
