Default GTG at the YMCA on Dean?
Anybody want to meet up at the YMCA spot tonight? I finally got my Honcho waterproofed enough to take it out but I can't find where you guys go wheeling behind the YMCA at Blanchard.

I'm sure AILD is tired of answering my questions so I figured I'd just start a thread.

I'm planning on heading over there at around 6pm tonight and just walking around until I find it. Hopefully nobody will get pissed - I'll wait to actually wheel until I get back in the woods.

If anybody wants to join, I'm always up for meeting fellow crawlers around here - only met a few.

Well I ended up going out there solo.

I see what you guys mean about breaking shit...I twisted my stock drive shafts trying to get over a massive root. Luckily I had spares with me.

Had a blast even by myself so it'd be awesome to get a group out there sometime.

I'm free this coming Saturday if anybody wants to meet up for a quick run.

I can go just about whenever. I agree earlier is better. Park technically opens at 8am. Let's see who else wants to join and we can find a time that works for everybody.

It's definitely in the woods. 11-12 sounds good to me. I would recommend bringing some Off! or something...the mosquitoes are pretty awful back there.

I would just park in the sand lot in front of the tennis courts/covered grill area just before the YMCA (coming in off Deans).

My girlfriend and I share her car so I'll be in a gold Mazda Protege. I'll PM you my cell number.

Meet there at 11am? I may get there a little early just to test out the new drive shafts and make sure all is well beforehand.

If anybody else wants to join just come on over.

Well myself, fink and jandg went out to the YMCA woods area today and had some fun running the trucks.

Had a blast guys! Thanks for posting the pics Joe!

Cleaning the rig off now. Overall, not bad. I think my steering was fubar'd from all the vines/junk that got stuck in the universals.
