Default Sunday 11-25-12 Friendly TTC
Ok so we decided yesterday on a location for our little GTG on Sunday. Its going to be at the bike trails off 419. A few people ha e already been out there and really enjoy the location.

Most likely be out there around 8:00-8:30 setting some stuff up for the course. We worked on some of it yesterday moving rocks around so we could have some good lines in and out of the water. (Crawlugly its the water spot on the other side of the tracks.) The most important word of the day would be WATERPROOF. Those who are interested just pm me or for those that have my # text me.

It will be a ringed what ya brung type event but same size rigs will compete against each other. (1.9's 2.2's 1.5's etc.) . This will be a friendly GTG but we will time and score so we can start preparing for the new year.

Hope some of the guys i have been talking to can make it. Here are a few quick pics from yesterday.

Yeah buddy, I can't wait to test out my new suspension setup and water proofing but just incase I didn't get it right I'm bringing out my wife's rig for backup.

Well Im amost done with my rigs. Working on the Ford, Wrangler and Wraith. Completely redid all 3 rigs.

On a side note, my LHS Superior Hobbies has definitely lost my business for large ticket prices and electronics. Tried to support them but a few dollars wasn't worth a sale to them. Acted as if it was no big deal so I acted the same and informed them "no problem its cheaper online shipped anyways." End of rant....just little agrivated.

Joe got them to knock off like $4 their Vanquish link set for the Wraith. I was impressed with them taking that much off!

As far as the meet tomorrow, I'm working on the Honcho all night tonight. Wraith is just about done. Need to run down to the mailbox and see if my side panels came in. Will probably bring it out so you guys can see it - won't be getting it dirty yet though.

May not have the Honcho done by morning. Going to keep working though.

Solar servo wouldn't clear with the aluminum servo horn on it so I've got an extra AS-3 I had laying around drying after a few coats of Liquid Tape.

Then I just need to get the motor mounted again (tour it apart and cleaned the shit out of it) and balloon the electronics.

We'll see if I make it. I'll be out either way. If I don't have the Honcho I can at least referee.

I felt like all my rigs have a ghost in the machine except my Wrangler but including my GoPro. Im laid out on the couch with 103 fever right now just shopping rpphobby.com
So agrivated at my rigs its not even healthy. Anyways still had fun out there.
