I'll be in brooksville off of mondon hill road this weekend, but I wont be able to make it over to the g2g. I'll be at a Florida Trail Riders race with my mx bike.

Was afraid you'd say custom. Scoop made out of styrene?

I also very much like the bed configuration as well, you gonna get a welder ?

The flux core welder will work "OK" for spot welds.
Might have to learn how to weld based on the response I got.

Maybe get a cheap stick welder from Harbor Freight to tack stuff together and then finish by brazing?

I would elect to go with one of their cheap 90amp rosin core wire feed welder AKA MIG over a stick welder. Trying to do thin walled steel will be next to impossible to do with a stick jobber.

Once you get the hang of the rosin core MIG youll realize spot welding will get you were you need to be.

Looks like I'm driving the Jeep to cart Big Fluffy and myself to AllScaledOut's G2G, anyone who wants to ride with us is welcome.

Is anyone else on board for this trip beside Billy, Danny and myself ? I know Jason/MrCamaro has motocycle plans and can't make it.

I look forward to wheeling with you all this weekend. If you have any questions or need my number drop me a pm. I'm off an on here so calling or texting would be easier to get in touch with me. I'm still trying to get my house back in order from the holidays.

I think I have your # or email ? Let alone your real name

I would also like to introduce our newest BARCO member "StraightCreepin" AKA
AL Muss, this is a long time good friend of mine whom is VERY RC savy but new to Scaling/crawling.
He will make a appearance very soon and be joining us for the G2G Sunday.

Hello BARCO, I'm the FNG... Bondo and I have been bro's for quite a few years now and have spent many a day bashing our toys together... I actually had the honor to work with FKE on the " Project E Revo on 6s Skidplate durability testing " and I'm here to tell ya, the Revo passed with flying collors " kinda like all the collors that I was seeing FROM GETTING HIT IN THE HEAD !!! by a flying object that literally blocked out the sun, and then all I remember was rolling around on the ground going " WTF "...
Oh yeah, and when I did get up I saw this guy " because he is so easy to see " laughing his ass off, and thats when I realized what had happened... I am the worlds first victim of an RC Hit and Run... Thanks Bro... I think about you every time I look in the mirror and see that big ass scar on my head, lol...
So yes, I am as hard core RC as the rest of you, so I am sure I will have a great time hangin with Barco, I have been doing it since I was 20, and like Bondo, I love to design and build... I did large scale gas planes for many years but decided that flying my LST was far more fun and it did not turn into a 2ooo dollar debris feild if some thing went wrong !!!
Hey B, if it's cool with you can we car pool too the spot ???
I hope to meet every one on Sun... Thanks, Str8 Creepin

Sadly I'm out on this one. The owner of the pawn shop has a bass tournament so I'm stuck there all Sunday :/.
