I'm thinking the same. Keep the front tucked under the wheel wells and push the back axle out Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2 |

Hey 40, is it possible to move the body and front axle foward ??? If so you could add a second peice of roll bar to fill the gap behind the cab, the double main bar look, or mabey some of the Wire lathe goodness that All Scalled Out did on his, It looks killer in black... That would get your fronts under the bumper and keep the awesome looking comp tail... You might not want to cut the front of the frame if you do this for it should be just enough left for bumper and wench mounting... I think your frame is more of an Open/ or moddified class comp rig, hence the short tail, expedition or trail Truggys would have a longer tail for support gear and spare rubber since they dont have a chase truck to follow them if they break down... Just an Idea, I love to build, especially if your buying the parts... No matter what, It will be BadAss... |

Bondo, I was thinking about that 4 plate crawler chassis we were talking about... What about having a servo that would articulate the plates at the centre point, You would be able to alter ride height with your 3rd or 4th channel on the fly, that just sounds cool... Berg did it I believe, just using a different approach...

Fantastic idea but a very beefy servo.will be needed to hold th position, possible gear drive or lever to aid in strenth and be easier on the servo ?

Not much of the original dog house/center console left after I got done hacking away at it, refabbed 90% after all said and done. Should've just started from scratch. I extended the Wraith dashboard 1/2" into the drivers area and permanently mounted it to the firewall so it slides out in a separate piece from the floor/console assembly.
