I've personally seen the jeep one and it is VERY small. i have not seen the silverado, but it looks to be about the same size. going off the wheels being the same. so bring a measuring tape when you go looking for them,

I brought home one of the NB Jeeps. There should be a build thread popping up some time next week. I'm gonna build me a TJ.

Been reading about using corrosion x for waterproofing electronics. Anyone tried it? Seems to be effective on brushless setups also

This is the water proofing method I'm using, pretty straight forward.

Good morning Barco dudes... Your welcome for the watersave... water proofing,,, spray or brush on liquid tape, PlastiDip for esc and servo... most premium and better servos should have an o ring in the cap but needs some xtra grease at the base of the splines under the cap... Gopro water proof encloser for a radio box ??? Might work ... I use this method on my lst setup, MMM 2200...

Ill always have the 6x6, just selling the cab to raise funds for new builds. Ive decided to revamp a few things and do something a bit different. Mainly putting it on a diet and going for more function and capabilty rather than scale appearance. Its going to be a scaler hauler, I will be updateing the build thread and let anyone interested know when I do.

I also have a friend that waterproofs his boat rx buy opening the case and packing it ful of Die electric grease, water no liking the grease... Pack the back side of all connections and you can also heatshrink over a grease packed connector for a grease bag effect, water no liking grease bag either... permanent connections can use aquarium sealer, or just paint with liquid tape and heat shrink...

The Wraith Is gettin some severe bench time, it looks like a bomb went off... cya...

Hey Al, I'm sure you fondly remember rubbing your face with the "Big Fluffy's ball-sack scented" ziplock of BeefTubes last weekend ?

I'm sure you also (and soon to regret) remember rubbing the white bubble wrap envelope they were shipped in on your face also ?

I'm going brushless with the trail truck. Pro43300/MMP/BEC on the way. Going to soak it all in Corrosion X. Seems like a simpler solution than plasti dip. If it gets wet it will need to be torn down and maintenenced anyway. Can re-apply easily enough to maintain the water-proofing.

Truggy will get the brushed set-up.
