BTW, if someone were to get a 5T and actually want to race it regularly I would be up for it in a instant. Id sell most everything I need to aquire one. I had a 5b when they first came out but the 2wd ruined it for me, I want to race it.

I'm serious, if anyone decides they want a large scale truck to race regularly LMK, I will instantly sell a bunch of stuff to buy a 5T.
I've ben wanting one since they came out but without a race trace designed for large scale it just doesn't seem worth having one to just bash.

Biily, you game ??

Yeah, you can only run stock mufflers...no pipes. I already went back and forth a couple of times with him and he refuses to have anyone run pipes because of the neighbors. And this is why my baja sc sits in the garage.

One of my buddies runs that track regular and he has the Bartilone silenced version and he hasn't mentioned anyone complaining ?

Hell I don't really see a prob with a stock pipe anyway, more of a level playing field and makes it more of a drivers race.

Those 5b/t's are too rich for my blood, but sexy as hell.

This guy stole my scx10 project ideas, all of them. WTF! Well not really but it is kinda creepy cause this has the same cut lines on the body I wanted and the same cage. Heck even the wheel and tires are the same. Good looking build.

Ok you got me on that one. I have the F270 motor and what a difference it made going from a stock muffler to the dominator v1 pipe!! But it's loud as shit which makes it difficult to have fun with when people are nearby. One time I took it to a nearby park and i'm sure the people playing tennis weren't too happy with me.

I'm an old man and even tho I tho I have 80%loss of hearing in my left ear I surely wouldn't want a loud assed pipe. If I were to get a 5T and a aftermarket pipe it'll be a silenced one for sure.
I had a 5B when they first came out 6+ yrs ago, I built my own tuned pipe for it Man did that thing work well, it turned the 23 into a little beast but but the noise ruined it for me.

I'm so on the fence about doing a BL conversion.

I'm rocking the super 5sc... was out @ CLWTR Beach on thursday morn with a few guys running 5t's with electric conversions and I was kicking they're ass's.. It's the 4wd.. if you can get the electric conversions to run in a straight line for more the 50 yards then they would scream.. the only truck there keeping up with the super5 flux was the losi 5t and it was still gas.

I could make an onroad out of it. Then she'll fly in a straight line on asphalt!! A lot of expense though.

I think I'm going buy the Losi 5T Roller and start a slow build, take my time and maybe have it ready to race the following winter.
The hop up list is endless for everything and motors are very affordable, I have scooter shops here in town that can make gobs of power from a stock mills for $100.00.
I think I'm going to sell my Losi XXL and Losi SCTE-MT to finance the Roller and everything else will come in time, I'll also weigh the pro's and con's of Fuel verses BL.
