First Coast Bashers aka Jacksonville FL

The check-in Jacksonville is getting long for only 4 people responding back and forth to it.
Time for a new tread.

Darren is working with PAL to get an event created for Jacksonville which we hope may become a yearly event. Check it out.

I would like to, but would have to be in the morning... I'm attending a Family BBQ from about 11AM until the afternoon or rain...

Well, since you let the cat out of the bag, I am working on securing the Equestrian Center as my Venue. Due to other commitments, and the busy holiday shopping season, I am looking at a March 29th event day. I hope to lock this in soon. We won't be able to fly planes at the Center because of the nearby airfield, but boats and ground vehicles should be a go. I am working on sponsors for prizes to give out, thus the shopping season is a no go for the LHS.

This is going to be a charity event for the Police Athletic League, I will have a few
races, a G6 event, and a lot of basher events planned.

This is a taste of what I have in mind:

Good time, today... Should have some wheels and tires headed my way, shortly...

Any of you guys have a Castle Link programmer? Or, anyone know the factory setting(s) of the cc bec? I'm going to purchase one, but don't want to buy the programmer, yet, if i don't need to...

Cool. Thanks. I may not need it... My Mom's fiance is really good with electronics, makes his own circuit boards, etc... So, we are going to make a non-programmable, homemade 5-10 amp BEC with a fixed 6 volt output...

Tracking says my new tires, wheels, etc should be here Mon or Tues... I ended up getting the RC4WD 1.9 Interco Irok's off ebay -

Interco IROK 1.9 Scale Tire

The new Swamper XL's were out-of-stock almost everywhere I searched, so I'm gonna give these a try... Very similar tread pattern...

I also ordered some axial 8-hole beadlocks in black. I had them on my original scx10 Dingo a few years back, and really liked them. Not sure why they don't come with the kits anymore...

Other than that, I picked up some raw materials - thin sheet steel, 1/8" round solid steel rod, etc to fab my roof rack, sliders, bumpers, pull-pal, etc... Hope to get cutting/welding in the next few days...
