Mega truck challange.........

Course will run just like this in the Video simple (down 8 straight ) http://youtu.be/K3RkSkAbSOk

Three run's per person fastest run time will count for the day.

Fastest run time's for the day will take top three of each class.

Marshaling is not allowed; rolling the truck or going out of bounds will result in a DQ for that run.

KEY fast is slow and slow is fast...

All Class's will run in there groups each class will have time to check in and set up

The format is each driver will get to make 3 three timed runs with the fastest being recorded.

Marshalling is not allowed; rolling the truck or going out of bounds resulted in a DQ for that run.

After racing is over, every one can hit the track for a freestyle run.

Not that what you guys do down there affects me personally but putting a cell limit on a mega truck makes zero sense to me. Mega trucks are the unlimited class.

Re: Mega truck challange.........

Our first couple of events are gonna be "run what you brung"
Granted i fully agree that putting a limit on ANY of it is complete and utter BS but then again i think the reverse rule is crap as well..

The only thing that i think should classify the trucks in different classes is the wheel size/type but i dont make the rules.

As the rules get put in place though we will be adhering to them a little at a time.

Reverse...uh...its a friggin mud truck. And the cell limit....I was going 4 or 6 cell....but its whatever...I'm not building a new mud truck so Im not going to change the f350, its a bog truck, not a race truck. Just like the 1:1 controversies and arguments, Im not getting into all the bs.

And I agree with bobby, either have different classes, or one class, minimum 6" tire height.

I was talking about the reverse rule in the scale trucks, which is utter bull-gina..

There is only a little bit of changing gonna happen with mine.. i dont think im gonna end up using the "super secret" body, ill just hang onto it as an investment, lol..
I do need some new batteries though.

Also i do know if we put to much "ruling" on this type of event there wont be many people enjoying it.. either way my mud truck always runs, class or for fun.

Re: Mega truck challange.........

So really there's no point in me going because I can't compete in any class due to not meeting cell limit well that sucks. Cell limits are crappy it's kinda like telling the real mega trucks they can't use blower motors because not every mega truck can afforded to build a 60,000 dollar engine. The unlimited class should be unlimited no cell limit. Who knows what my trucks going to do. It might haul a$$ it might strip the ring and pinions that's part of being unlimited. But my opinion

Love the idea i have a mega styled mud truck and would love to attend, but i have to agree putting a restriction on power is silly. There is no restriction inMega truck racing and if u break or roll it u DF its all in the driver. I think over powering is what its all about any way then trying to harness it

Have to restrict it so everyone is able to have fun.
Although i think we (Yoda and Me) will discuss the cell limit but i only see it going to a 4 cell max.
