Had fun... check! Met awesome people...check! Drove 9 hrs to and from...check! Did I say the AshevilleRC crew had a blast...check! Found a rat in the day stages for a time bonus... Helped me DNF a lil sooner...check! Found a doll on the night stage... Won a prize!!!

I agree that this should of had more structure for scoring. I didn't come to get 1st place but would like to know how my score fit in with everyone else's. The mandatory trash-a-roo was stupid, I am so glad I didn't buy one. Were the pop sickle gravestones ever used? For an event that has such a high entry fee, I was expecting more.
Super fun day, and I will attend again, but left confused

Y'all have to keep in mind that this, along with any and all Recon G6 events are NOT, I repeat, Not a competition.

No one received "1st place"...

There were "driver of the day" awards picked by Parker for whatever reason he deemed appropriate...

Recon G6's are not competitions. They are a themed, fun-run style get together for R/C scalers.

I had an absolute blast the whole time. I got to hang out with a bunch of groups and friends that I've met while traveling around the Eastern US this past year representing ScalerFab as well as my local club and local Florida friends that I see every other weekend. Both the day and night run were a lot of fun.

I am truly honored to be a part of such a great group of people brought together to enjoy a common hobby.

Next year, I plan to travel to a few other Recon G6 events if possible.

You have to understand this is a massive FUN run. Not, NOT a comp. We're glad you had a good time and yes the Popsicle stick tomb stones were arranged in a grave yard in the night stage. We were required to locate our own stick and return it to G central.





What a great time.
