What do I do if I don't care about FB and don't trust anyone with a 0 post count that just signed up?

You're entitled to your opinion, however this is a park that we are building just outside of Deland, FL. You don't have to care about Facebook, but i do encourage you to take a look and see what's taking place.

Is that in your backyard? How big is it going to be when done?

It will take up about 8000 sqft. As of now. We plan on adding a tower platform and short course track after we finish most of the crawler/scaler. It is in the back of my 2 1/2 acres

Working on quite a few cool areas, hoping the rain holds off a few days so we can get all the mortar finished

Cool, atleast you have the space to do something like that. Hopefully your neighbors are cool and don't start complaining.

Looking good, bud. I've been by Deland (I think) on my way to Marco... I'm building a Scaler Course in my front yard. I know how much work it can be.
I'm digging that swinging bridge...
Most of our course is clay and stone. I built scale buildings, an "abandoned" RR bridge, a waterfall "feature," and a tunnel thus far.
We are only about 5 months in...

We are only about 4 days worth of work into it. My job provides me tons of material that we are able to use. You can check out the Facebook page to see all the pics. Hoping to have everything major done in the next 2-3 weeks then it will be time for detail scale stuff and starting in on the short course track.

Cool stuffs.
I know you can't dig a hole in South Florida without going below sea level...
We had to "import" all our rocks. It's either sand or clay.

That has a lot to do with why most things will be raised artificial rock. But there are quite a few spots that will be dug out and we have a huge rock ravine that goes around almost the whole back side. But I will tell you the sand/dirt here makes great mortar mix with a very nice natural color and it made digging the pond and streams extremely easy.

What are you using for your "artificial" rock?

We (my friend and I) conducted an experiment with expanding foam.
Dunno if we got the "wrong" stuff, but let's just say it was a fail.

The stone paint was kinda cool, but the shape of the rock, well, left a bit to be desired...

We might end up using foam in a couple places, but for the most part we're mixing 1 part mortar to 3 parts sand/dirt and placing it over the natural contours of all the wood framing and chicken wire that we laid.

We would also love to hear any ideas from people, what would you like to see at a scale/crawler park.

Rain got us for the most part this past weekend. Hoping to get a few more sections done by the end of this week. Updates to come

Set up a ttc course similar to the 1:1 course. I think it would be a hit
