Awesome. Im sorry ive been so quiet. Ive been hitting 70 hr weeks at work and anything extra has been with the family and getting the cnc machine operating. I do have the frame rails ready for 14th scall crawler but my program wont unlock the license key so i cant cut. Also turns out in the hustle of things my esc and reciever are gone somehow so my rig has been sitting on the shelf lately. Ill throw up a video of the rig in some mud in a bit

So quick update. I got everything ready to run. The machine is all set. Went to cut out my chassis yesterday and snapped the bit. Waiting on the new one to come in. Im hoping to finally have my rig made scale by next week

I screwed up on body size. Somehow i ended up with 14th scale so i had to alter my design to actually shorten my wheel base. The tires are also too big for a scale crawler. It looks like its going to end up being a scale mudder unless i can find tires to fit the wheel wells

Fianlly a decent update!!!!! Im about to cut the panhard kit i designed for this truck today. Whem i designed the frame rails, i wanted to do as little modifications as possible to the original kit. That being said. The upper mounts are still stock. I just shortened their mounting points
The lower links i new i would have to modify so i cut them down and re drilled and tapped for the proper wheel base. Ended up having to cut about half an inch off of each link
I also had to shorten the drive shafts by about an inch with my dremel cut off tool the angle looks off on the front driveshaft but i am lowering the suspension by about 20-30mms because it just sits way too high off the body

I still havent settled on a paint scheme for the entire truck. I might match it to my old street bike. It did end up being a 14th scale mudder. I might switch tires to an iuter diameter of 3-3.3 inches to make it look more like a road vehicle than a mega truck. Im definitely happy with the way everything is turning out being my first time doing all of this from scratch
Just went to beachline raceway. How does everyone feel about having to pay to crawl there like the indoor track?

If the course was good idea definitely pay but if they charge ridiculous amounts to go it is a bust

Hello, My Name is Rusty and I too would love to see and be a part of a RC crawling club here in Brevard. I just opened a hobby shop on US1 in Rockledge called Boundless RC Hobbies. We started building an in door Rock course and have plans for a larger outdoor course as well. Let me how I can help.

I was curious if Beachline had a rock course. I pass by there all the time and that place is packed on the weekends. I just got my LCC back out and I'd like to hit the rocks. It's only been trail riding for me. I would like to get on a course and see how it handles. I need to work on the DIG a little, servos areny lasting very long....

Howdy fellow Brevard Fam! I'm David, used to be heavy into the hobby a few years ago but work and starting a family took a lot of my time. I'm picking it back up again. I've been all over south Brevard and found some awesome spots. My Youtube channel is Dcarter355, sub and I'll sub back. Hopefully see you guys out on the trails!

Life is so busy, would be nice to get something together whether it is the indoor place or head over to Orlando to see what they got going on
