Been looking for some people to get together with, and places to go here in the Bay Area as well. I'm up in Zephyrhills....but willing to drive for a get together, and a good spot. The one the guys are doing over in Cape Canaveral....is just a bit too far, 115 miles for me.

There's a new track going up in Tampa (off Dale Mabry), that just had a grand opening this past Saturday. Was talking to the owner...and he's very dedicated in making a Rock Crawling course for comps. There's already an Off-Road course, and a On-Road course in the works. That's a place to keep your eye on. I know I'll be going quite often.

i live here in lakeland there is a place here that has quite a few mt bike trails in it. it was a old reclamed phosphate mine that turned into public fishing holes. in between the fishing holes there are bike trails its been a while since ive been out there but last time i was out there was some nice trails to play one. only bad thing about this place is if you go to far off corse its almost a stright drop into water so you just have to watch where you are going and hope you dont get a bad glitch.

Default I'm off of 675 as well, but north of SR64.

Good to know someone with a little build knowledge is close by. I have a new AX10 being delivered in the next few days (still trying to figure out how to build it and keep it hidden from the wife, we're supposed to be on a budget) and this will be my first build with electrics. I am going to be running a 11.1v, 3cell lipo pack with CC Sidewinder and a CC bec to run the full 6 volts to a hd steering servo (this is all new to me). Will add a dig at a later date, but plan on using an older 2ch Futaba that I have lying around from an HPI nitro that spent more time broken than running.

I'll definitely make it out to one of the Skyway get togethers in the near future.
