Did you see the vid he made ?
It has plenty of power
He has a 5700kv motor
I use a Velinion 3500kv motor in my Foff
some guys even use the 3500kv motor in Maxx trucks

And the ESC that Cyberdog uses can easily run a brushless crawler motor

I believe brushless motors have more torque then a brushed motor of the same size

Got my Pede transmission and Diff Locker today.

Stampede transmission

Difflock

Inside transmission

Diff

Gears gone

Difflock

Things not needed anymore

Now i will meassure the transmission and then cut it down in size so it fits in my Foff. Also making a small alu plate to strengthen it.
Also have to make a new plate for the electronics since this transmission is much higher than the rshd

Started putting the FOFF back together again. Soem small work still remaining on the aluminium. Also going to waterproff it before i am done.

Some Pictures

Comparison between R2HD transmission and Stampede

From the side. Starting to look like it did before.

Above. Cables will be secured to be safe from shorting out.

Lengtened shaft

Underside. Have some work there todo aswell

From the front. There u see how much the Stampede transmission sticks up. R2HD transmission was below the electronics plate. So thats why i had to make a hole.

More updates to come shortly....

Now its put together and this is how it looks atm.

Been driving 30 mins with the new transmission and it works great. After 30 mins the fun ended because i broke a piece of plastic ( Plastic gets brittle in minus C degrees ) in the rear so i ordered some aluminium replacements

And HERE is a vid with the Pede transmission. In the end the cars dowsnt wanna function properly and thats where i saw the broken parts

That truck is cool! I was thinking about doing something like that to my ax-10, but not that much power.

Wanted to see how it would look with a body on it. Both look kinda cool but i like the beetle the best. Would need some trimming on the bodies to work

Was out driving with the MGT 6x6 and the FoFF and was great fun until a "small" jump ended the fun... Was at full throttle going for a small jump and that was fine. it jumped maybe 15-20 feet and landed on the front axle so i broke the same things i had broken before in the rear Going to make same custom alu pieces for all axles so its bulletproof...
