I havent built my FOFF yet, but I run sand paddles on my 2wd Traxxas Slash as a 100% beach car. Sand paws on the back and Panther Razor on the front. In my experience, the Proline Sand Paws are a fantastic all around sand tyre... they work well on the soft 'dusty' sand, digging quite well to get grip, and on the hard packed sand they sit right up and give you more speed with the stiff paddles. Its like having a bigger tyre ;) Traxxas Slash at the beach - YouTube I have some more vids of it climbing dunes etc, but havent uploaded them to youtube yet. |

Panther has released some SC paddles. I have a pair of them for my blitz and they work just as well as the 2.2's do, which is great! I posted some tips on rcsc How to install Panther SC paddles on your Pro-line beadlocks - RCShortCourse.com Bulletin Board |

I'm using the Proline 2.2 Sand Paws on my AX-10 based rig.. Only because it's what was available locally. They work great both on wet and/or packed sand, and really good in loose/soft sand. They are a great fit on Axial 8 hole beadlocks. The width is absolutely a perfect match and the beads fall right into place. Running sealed up with no foams and the stiff paddles easily hold the rig up and it even drives O.K. on hard packed gravel roads and the lawn. |

I really like the Sand Paws for best overall performance. They also tend to deal well on soft dirt. Last edited by DRV KRAWLER; 08-30-2012 at 07:01 AM. |

I'm doing a 2WD 1/10 buggy to trash on the sand. So far I already have a set of sand paws, but what do you advise for the front?! Maybe the proline mohak on SC wheels? Any other options? |

Figured I'd toss a few pics of my paddles up. Sand is frozen and snow covered so it be awhile before I run them |

My weapons of choise are 2.8 Sand paws, and boy I do love Žem Performance in loose sand is awesome, compared to my ex-AX-10 w Panther paddles I can now drive much slower in the hills, with AX I had to go flat out... Why slow, our comp courses have quite tight turns in interesting places... |

I was wondering if anybody has tried the Rovan sand paddle tires? I have a Slash 4x4 on 3s with 17mm hubs that I would like to put paddles on and I saw this combo on ebay that looked pretty sweet.Rovan Sand Paddle Truck Tires on Rims Fits HPI Baja 5T 5SC King Motor Set of 4 | eBay |
