I think I have found a use for this thing. Do you have to run a body on a FOFF rig? If not I just need some paddles and a new shock setup |

I was running mine with a velineon vxl setup and paddles. It worked really well. A bunch of mods for better handling on the sand was all it took.

Sweet, its already running a 500 puller on the stock tranny but I may swap it out for an axial trans. What sort of mods did you do to it? |

I've been thinking about using some R1 axles on a go fast truck... are the shock mounts on the axle really high? will you use shorter shocks?

They are quite high and the shocks ar quite long at long extension. I will aim for links parallel to the ground with a sprung set up.

The 380 is the 1:16 motor. It's a wildcat in my Mini E-Revo... but the MERV doesn't weigh much. I don't think you'll get the power to weight ratio you want in a 1:10 truck. BTW, in the US the product number is TRX3371, all the Traxxas parts start with TRX. |

Cheers, Can you suggest a possible alternative for a transmission area with not much room. the 500 puller is a squeeze, if there was not so much sand involved I would just put a larger pinion on the existing motor.
