i think you are seriously gonna need some paddles. Those pins are just gonna spin in the sand. Otherwise it looks pretty solid.

The oval tires hook-up remarkably well and there is more loose dirt than sand that it will be testing in. The hill climbs are a combination of hard and soft dirt. But I do have paddles too. This thing is a blast to drive..... Might back out of tonight, have family stuff planned and that is way more important. (well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it, lol) It will be around for plenty of testing and running this weekend though. JC

Cool rig. I have a k2-s I might use with some WK axles for an FOFF. They just look too fun!! Plus I have the perfect sand pit a mile up the road.

Thanks. Making minor adjustments and changes to make it more bomb-proof. These rigs are alot of fun. The K2 chassis is a good platform for this kind of rig. Have fun! JC

I am about to use a K2 for one and was wondering what your wheelbase was and what length links you used?

Currently my WB is sitting right at 14" My front links eye to eye center is 5 3/8" My rear links eye to eye center is 5 1/2" It's a really good platform to build from. If you have anymore questions, ask away. These are a blast! JC

Thanks Bud. Running Thunder Power 2250 3S batteries, also a ?? 1300 3S. The 2 TP's have 25C continuous ratings amd the 1300 has 30C continuous. They all do very well, don't get hot and give plenty of run time. Usually check the rig in between runs when the battery hits the cutoff, and let the motor cool down, drink a beer, heckle the others, laugh and do it again. We have alot of fun, and I do mean alot of fun. Our ribs hurt from laughing so much. JC |

Now did you go with slowmo in order to stop the violent laugh shakes? What a blast this is, even better when we get to see it twice Thanks for taking the time Jeff |
