After reading the entire thread, I was a little disappointed, still no video.
That rig is a thing of BEAUTY. Would really like to see it do some BLASTING.

OK
the master blaster has been shelved for a wile now.
mainly because it loves to EAT - even HD trans gears.
& seems a cant get enough gearing (for me) using a ax/10 trans
dropped down to a 50T spur gear & that's as small as i can go with the drive hub size
(just about the same size as trans the drive hub now)

I need/want more speed

so were going to try this !!

the new up-coming
Vanquish Products
EXO motor/center diff mount !!

eliminate the trans all together.

lock the center diff,
& this with the 550 Novak on 4 cell - should do the trick !!

can't waite !!

I think, no, I know I like it (the rig).

Could use VP's center diff holder.

Cool Re: DmG's - MASTER BLASTER

wow.

VP - it's Paul here.. I know we don't talk much and you have a lot of things on your plate but, if you could, please please please offer that with a dual motor mount - one on each side kinda thing..

WHY ??
like one big 1/8 scale brushless motor on a big battery wouldn't be enough !!
plus being designed for the EXO,
another mount on the other side would interfere with - everything in the EXO !

I don't comment on these rigs much - this one is a fine piece of custom work though. Looks like a lot of fun.

The Blaster helmet is perfect!!! Nice touch there...

Well, maybe IMO one big 1/8 scale brushless motor on a big battery wouldn't be enough

Funny, I would have thought that someone labelling themselves Death Metal Garage would appreciate non-sensical over the top power and destruction. Guess not..

It would only really interfere with that lousy battery spot anyway.

And there's plenty of other dual motor plates out there for other rigs that don't make any sense. Take the SCX10 - why would one ever want a second motor on one of those? Cuz they can!

And who said I wanted it for an EXO anyway I guess then it really wouldn't have to be THIS piece that is set up for dual motor, but I would definitely like an opposed dual motor plate for a center diff design rig. I mean, why not? I can just make it myself but buying is easier.

Anyway - sorry for disrupting your thread. carry on.

Default Hammer time !!!

ok
finely got some time to up-date the MB drive system.
no more ax/10 transmissions for me !!

this trans should GET IT DONE
still not sure what motor yet ??
stay with the Novak 550/3800K on 4 cell,
or just GO FOR IT & do a T8 2060K on 4 to 6 cell

installation next !!
just a slight skid-plate mod needed.

Damn! That center diff setup is sick. I could see a Mamba Monster combo in there. 2200 KV system, up to 6s. I had one of those in my Savage and it was crazy on 4s. What weight oil are you going to use in the diff?
