We've been running with a stock Kyosho Fo-xx and an Axial Wraith with 5700kv MMP 3s setup. Currently waiting for a MMM 2200kv 4s setup for the Wraith https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oG7aa3gdMM |

RC Formula Offroad (Axial SCX10) test drive compilation "> Formula Offroad Picture Archive In addition to the information in picture gallery: Front is made into 4-link suspension as well by two plastic upper links. Also replaced all bearings with Single seal Revolution Design Ultra bearings as I was searching for lower rolling resistance (do not know if they actually help). Rx box is from LRP S10 blast 2 series RC car and LiPo guard is HobbyKing Cell Checker with Low Voltage Alarm (2S-8S). Following maintenance showed that one aluminum steering link plastic rod end got bent (had couple collisions with stones) and few bearings were gritty.

New test drive with CC Mamba Max Pro and 6900kv combo. Also installed AX10 scorpion universal set to get more steering travel and reduce wheel wobble at larger steering angle. Following maintenance showed that one AX10 Scorpion Universal Set pin had broken in half and few bearings were gritty. Made a flag pole from cable tie, drinking straw and small hand held / table flag. The light bar side part was a good template to mark hole positions on the cable tie. Used the same light bar mounting screws. Top end of the cable tie was bent to keep the drinking straw in place and concertina-type bendable hinge was left upwards to keep the flag in place by friction. During the whole next session the flag came off only once, so worked pretty well. "> |
