Looks GREAT ! I would like to see a list of mods and items used. I always enjoy seeing what people are running. I am jealous that you have a nice body for it. I am still trying to get a painter on board to complete my build. I have a fast rig with no body.

how are the Jato springs? I got my revo shocks, springs are of course way too stiff. My electronics placement is similar to yours, so I figure if the springs work well for you, they should work well for me!

well guys its been a while since i posted here and theres a reason, shortly after my last post the foff was destroyed due to lipo fire, i decided not to build another one instead just got an axial exo

Sorry to hear that your Scx got fried. That was a good build. You can always build another some day. I like my Exo alot, it's one of my favorite rig's.

It's only $$$.

Think it was a bad battery, bought 2 of them at the same time and both have been equally took care of and im still using the other one in my exo

Been thinking about it, the chubs, knuckles, lock outs, axles, beef tubes, drive shafts, frame rails, servo horn and trans are still usable which would save quite a bit of $$ just need a little soak in wd-40, cleaned up and new bearings, and i already have a set of paddles and wheels that need mounted & a new scx skid & steering servo, but for now just been messing around with the exo

The Rebuild BEGINS!!!!!!!

well after listing the parts that i could reuse and parts that i had laying around got me to thinking there's not much left to buy to get this thing going again. At first i was thinking something like a frankenstein build and use the parts as is (with new bearings) but now i'm thinking clean everything up real nice maybe do like a brushed finish on all the aluminum axle parts & new motor using a scotch pad and painting the frame rails, new springs & transmission case bright red & topping it off with a silver body.

Parts on order:
-SCX10 frame brace kit (using the old frame rails)
-revo rod ends
-5/16 delrin
-M4 x 16 mm grubs
-motor mount (other one was warped in the fire)
-front & rear axles (gonna use the old parts to beef them up)
-revo waterproof rx box
-revo gtr shocks
-jato springs (yellow/orange)
-HPI rubicon body

Still need to order another motor/esc & reciever but i'll worry about that once i get the roller together

That sounds cool. I was thinking about polishing up as much as I can on my next build.

Well alot of the parts came in today but im putting it on the back burner for a few weeks until we get moved into our new house because i just do not have time to mess with it.
