| "The Green Meanie" FOFF
I had a FOFF a while back and got rid of it. It was one of the more fun rigs that Ive had. I decided a month or so ago it was time to build another, but better. Specs: * Castle 3800KV 4 pole motor * Hobbywing EZRun SC8 waterproof 1/8 scale 120a esc * Hitech servo * AX10 chassis * Axial billet adj. shocks * SCX10 axles * Panther Paddles * Axial Rockstar wheels * MTHead beadlock rings * Wheel hardware from LockedUpRC.com * Junfac Shafts * Axial trans w/ RR internals and FOFF motor plate * 32p 54/15 gearing * Proline 1/10 72 C10 crawler body The body Ill be using. Foff motor plate on the trans Badass rings from mthead and some sweet hardware fresh from LockedUpRC. Last edited by Hoosierdady; 03-15-2014 at 08:31 AM. |

That wheel and tire combo looks so deadly, can't wait to see it all together. That body will look sick mounted with that wheel set up. Damn, I might have to finally put one of these foff deals together.

I got the bottom links moved inboard, and the upper shock mounts too. Im gong to pick up some better shocks and lower links ASAP. These suck hard. I have the trans mounted, along with the CC motor, a 18t/54 32p combo will get me started I think. In between painting and wating for paint to dry on other projects I got the other tires mounted. Here's a poser shot. Im going to run the body forward like this to keep from having to cut it due to hitting the servo. Its long and lean.

Let me know if you just don't have time. I can probably hook ya up with a 1 off tube truss. And I am sure I can add some southern love to keep it sexy!

I appreciate it, but Ive already bought a VP truss. I just couldnt resist, lol. Now Ive just got to find a steering linkage set before I rob the one from my Honcho.

Cool lookin rig so far. What is the clearance at the skid, can we get a profile low angle picture? Thanks. |

as of now I dont have the rear shocks, or my rear upper links mounted. Im still waiting on my hardware from Harley, steering linkage from Trubble and a rear truss from VP. THe shocks suck hard too. Ill be getting a set of those eventually. Im shooting for around 2.5-3". I dont have any sand around here, so all of my FOFF-ing around is done on dirt hills, mud and snow. To be honest, the whole wheely on command thing is what Im going for, lol.
