Default new to the forum and looking to build a foff

I'm thinking about building an foff and would like to go 1/8 scale.

I've got an sc8e and a rc8e.2 so parts are abundant and now I'm thinking of getting another rc8 e and turning it into a foff
but I 'm also very interested in a savage flux hp although the only hpi parts I have now are for my 5th scale stuff.

Any suggestions or thoughts on which way to go?

If I were you I'd start with 1/8. Use the knowledge and parts you have on hand and go from there. Don't forget to post pic's.
Good luck.

thanks for the reply.

I'm leaning towards building the rc8 e mainly because I have a ton of parts already.
I haven't seen any rc8 builds?..... any one?

I'll probably go with castle electronics (monster mamba and a 2650)

thanks again

You'll be starting a new trend. Build it up and take some info and video to show others your successes.

it's because most foff trucks are built on solid axles... Jeeps are real popular in 1:1.
That being said, the RCC builds have been from whatever we have laying around.

If I was going to build a 1:8, I'd go with AR60's... but I love solid axles.

I'll be looking for a good deal on a rc8 e roller and probably make this a winter project
