Default my icelandic offroad formula project...

I started this project about 2 months ago. I have always liked the 1:1 "the turfer"/ torfan so I wanted to built somthing similar . If you don't know the turfer then, "the turfer" is an icelandic offroad formula car owned by Hafsteinn Þorvaldsson, i think thed the car is about 5-6 years old and he still compets but he has bin driving tourists for some time too.

started off by using "inventor pro"

then i glued the chassis together with hot glue

then i started welding

a tonn of articulation ther

fitting the electronics

the first run... but not nearly finished

another run but still not finished

another run still not finished but this was truly a quality run

now we get to the painting

and that's were i'm at now

what do you think??

At first I thought you were going to use hot glue to hold the chassis together! Then saw where you welded it up.

Chassis looks spot on and I love the profile of the whole rig.

I'm going to paint the frame again because the color is all peeling off and I was wondering if some geniuses here could give me tips on how to paint the frame so it does not peel so quickly (I did not use primer for example)
maybe I should use a primer and put clear varnish after I've painted the frame green??
