I agree ..BL in a WK is too much fun
I have only replaced the diff gears once sins I got it in Dec. 07
The new hardened Diff gears are 36/14 ... that will hopefully be enough to push my WK past 30 Mph with Sand Paw tires and īPede gearbox

You need some more room. A nice big hill would be cool.

Nice build. I just finished my WK 5700 mamba 3cell lipo build, I am now thinking chassis options, yours looks like it is much more controlable. also if you blow those gears try esavage gears they are the only reason I pulled out the WK axles again

Yes they have a 12mm hex, the manufacturer is TAMIYA and the model where they came from was a Stadium Blitzer
I only drilled a 7mm hole to make them fit on the WK hex

I don't know how I let this thread slip my mine, anyway I'm glad I came back across it. In my truck on the prior page, I run a sidewinder 4600 on 3s and it has axial axles. I have since bought and used WK axles on another project truck of mine and do like the extra width of the WK axles. The extra wide wheels just allows a larger contact patch in effort to making it "float" better across sand.

Keep up your progression in this formula off-road stuff and thanks again for the inspiration

I made a mod1 22T pinion the other day
and I had a 38T mod 1 Revo spur as well
so now my Foff should exceed 30Mph With the MudSlingers
